Mandarin Restaurant

This was my first experience at the Mandarin & because it was Christmas Day it was crazy busy. The staff managed to remain very calm & were great about explaining how everything worked when I told them I'd never been before. The food was delicious! Lots of selection including turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy & cranberry sauce. Everything I needed to feel festive. There were tons of other options (I tried as many as I could!) the buffet bars were always immaculate, fresh food just kept coming from the kitchens, & even the washrooms were spotless. With so many people passing through there, I'm not sure how they managed it & all with a smile on their face! I'm looking forward to my return visit. Thanks for a great experience!

Had lunch with my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas celebration. I made our reservation 2 days ago and was explained fully what to expect - the time limit to stay, the price per person, my reservation #. That’s good! There are a lot of food choices from salad bar, soup, sushi, main dish, dessert, etc. Staff is also pleasant and attentive. It’s a great place to celebrate special occasion like Christmas!

Haven't been to a buffet in five plus years. This buffet was well presented with numerous options. There were lots of meats and lots of desserts as well as a full salad bar. I did note that there was a lacking of vegetables but there was enough other food to make up for it. They had a roast beef bar as well as a sushi bar included. We topped everything off with a fruit and dessert bar. There were dozens of cakes available as well as a full ice cream bar. Lots of food and went home full. Best part was getting cotton candy on the way out to eat in the car on the way home!

I've been eating at Mandarin with my family for 16 years and the food is excellent here as always. Aside from the food, I love the mocktails and the service Raymond was my server but there was also Paul whom served my table occasionally. Both Raymond and Paul had outstanding service, always friendly, smiling, humorous, fast, and I wish them all the best Here is what I ate: 0. Drinks water, choco banana monkey mocktail, blueberry lychee fizz 1. Snack croissant (buttered) 2. Soup wonton soup 3. Appetizer chicken dumplings w dumpling sauce 4. Vegetable dish roasted potato, dried garlic green beans, wok fried broccoli & mushroom & corn 5. Seafood dish baked teriyaki salmon, seafood medley, mussel in black bean sauce, breaded torpedo shrimp, salt & pepper shrimp, golden fried fish fillet, teppanyaki fish fillet 6. Meat dish BBQ ribs 7. First main course prime rib (rare) w beef au jus, mashed potatoes w gravy 8. Palate cleanser orange pineapple ice cream w butterscotch topping & M&M's 9. Second main course Shanghai noodles, Hawaiian baked ham, shrimps, General Tao chicken, teriyaki meatball 10. Desserts New York cheesecake, pecan pie 11. Bite sized desserts rice pudding, creme brulee, rice crispy square, sticky toffee pudding

Visited tonight from Glasgow, Scotland as I’m on holiday visiting my auntie. Aunt has been a regular at the restaurant for many years and was eager to take me tonight. Wow! I can’t fault the place. Food was soo tasty, place was clean and welcoming. Amy, was our server and she made me feel so welcome! She ran about after us all night assisting us and make it sure we were comfortable. Glad to have met Amy tonight as she made the experience all that better.

📢coffee and tea at the last are not free they are $2 and separate. $2 isn't much but I wouldn't have it if I knew I had to pay. ✍️btw every menu, except one special main, is same lunch and dinner. I asked them. So if you are worried cuz you are going for lunch, I'm telling ya you won't miss much. Very decent place for the price. They were cheaper than I expected. But tbh the place was kinda smaller than I expected. Cuz it looks much bigger from the outside. And sushi was bad. And why do they have almost one by one ratio by main foods and desert? 😂 the half of this buffet place is full of desert lmao. I wish there's more main food. Like more Chinese traditional food? Or maybe western food? Too much similar desert and salad. Only one section (bar) was main. Haha

Went here for dinner on my mom’s birthday and loved it!! There were a wide breadth of tasty dishes to choose from, with many unique specials for Canada Day. The staff and waiters were very kind, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Decor was lovely, great atmosphere, and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!
