The food was incredible, we will definitely be back. I could have made a meal of the black eyes and cornbread! The unsweetened tea was even fresh and flavorful. A taste delight.

Wanted to say thank you for staying open for us. We were in town for 24 hours. We found this place on Yelp. The reviews were good. The pictures don't give this place enough justice. Anyway, they closed at 7pm. We arrived at 6:30 and dinned in. The food came up fast, hot and GOOD!!!! we wanted lemonade, the server, I don't remember her name. She made it fresh squeeze for my party of 4. And not for nothing. We appreciate the hell out of that. Thank you so much! Next time we are in town, we will be back. ♥️♥️

Found this little place, best shrimp and grits ever. Just of rt 17 south in Georgetown south Carolina. I ordered the hamburger steak. it was awesome seasoned with something I have never tasted. Very good wife had the shrimp and grits, cooked to perfection. The corn off the cob it also was some of the best corn I have put in my mouth. Now the corn muffins no words just make that turn into town and try it.

Highly recommend this hidden gem!
My husband and I traveled to Georgetown,SC to visit family. I’ve heard people in the community talk about Aunny’s Country Kitchen and how much the food reminded them of delicious home cooking. I had to try it! I met sweet Aunny and some of her staff. Super nice! I ordered we the hamburger steak, mac & cheese, green beans, white rice with gravy. The corn muffin came with the meal. The food was great! This is a hidden gem, located downtown Georgetown.
The atmosphere can use some updating, but you can see the history of Aunny and the reason why the restaurant has been around this long. The food and customer service really make it easy to overlook everything else.

When or if you're ever in Georgetown, South Carolina, and you're hungry from walking along Front Street, and you want an introductory taste of "Low Country" soul food inspired by the Gullah Geechee culture, give Aunny's a try! You'll enjoy their palette of chicken, beef and seafood dishes, that'll matriculate you over to their "mouth watering" desserts! They're modestly priced and you'll probably purchase a dessert, to munch on later on!

The best food in South Carolina! We stayed in Myrtle Beach but drove to Georgetown to visit the Gullah Museum. We tried several restaurants in Myrtle Beach but NOTHING was as good as Aunnys!

They've been there for about 14 years, Really good home style cooking. Get the home made desserts, very good. Had the fried chicken dark meat, carrots and peas, and Mac and cheese. Chicken was great, cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese was a little dry but good.

We LOVED our meal at Aunny’s. All the food was absolutely delicious and HOT. Plus, the ladies that run this place are delightful. Definitely get one of Mama Jane’s desserts too. Delicious!
