Alfresco Bistro

What a great find. The food was outstanding. We really like the atmosphere. Our server was new, and being coached by her co-workers. Heather did a wonderful job,( as did the co-worker teaching her). We can't wait to get back to Georgetown and enjoy this little gem again. Alfresco Bistro is a must try. If you haven't been there, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago while driving through the area on a very rainy evening. Town was very quiet and we were the only ones eating that evening. The dinner was delicious and probably one of the best I have every had. The staff was attentive and the music, thank goodness, was of low volume and nice guitar instrumentals. Certainly recommend this restaurant.

What a gem! Beautiful little Italian Bistro. The food was great quality and really delicious. (We had Calamari, Veal Marsala, and Grouper Francaise with Linguini). Professional, friendly, timely service. We visited for the first time this week, getting there late on a weeknight. Although we were dressed down, coming from a ball game, and were the last 2 customers of the night, they were very welcoming and did not make us feel rushed. Ambiance was equal to a fine dining Authentic Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Nicely decorated, fine dining quality table settings. A great place for a date night or business lunch. They have a room that can be sectioned for a gathering/party. Prices were reasonable. They started around $8 appetizers, around $12-18 for small plates to $20-$30 for full meals.

Unusual experience tonight but we would still return. We were eating light tonight. We started with a mojito and margarita. Wife asked for an arugula salad and I lobster bisque. Her salad was supposed to have arugula, walnuts, beets and dressing. It came with another green altogether, apple shreds and dressing. She questioned the waitresses, Haley and Haley said they ran out of arugula and nuts. Strange that no one told us. They just substituted. My bisque was great. We had appetizers for dinner. They were very good. The decor in Alfresco was well done. We would still consider visiting again if we are ever back in the area.

The food is excellent. I love the look of the place. The staff are knowledgeable and they make you feel like family. The tapas menu at the bar is a perfect tasting of all my favorite thimgs and then some. The bartender is friendly and fun. She makes you feel welcome. Definitely one of our favorite spots. The band on Friday nights is awesome too!
