Large grocery store with a nice bakery, nice hot foods, including the best fried chicken, and fresh produce including a nice selection of organics. Best to call ahead to place a large order of fried chicken. Store also has a pharmacy and a lot of over the counter items. The all natural soap has the best scents. Store is clean, well stocked and lots of cash registers making it fast in and fast out. There is a large lighted parking lot. Store is handicap accessible. Restrooms are clean. Sales are good. Pricing is similar to other markets. Customer service is good. This store has two locations in Frederick. This location in the 7th Street Shopping Center and the other location on Rt 40 at the western end of town. Both locations are very similar.

Ordered catering size trays of food from the hot foods dept. for an event. One of the things was a full tray of Caesar salad. When I returned to set up the food, I realized the tray of lettuce for the salad came with a bag of croutons, but no Caesar dressing. I called the store back only to be told that the dressing doesn't always come with it? What kind of sense does that make. They then offered that if I wanted to drive back they would give me Caesar dressing. (Like they were doing me a favor). Poor customer service. The gentleman I was talking to on the phone was very nice, however the lady he was reaching out to for assistance, that I could clearly hear, was RUDE! I didn't have time to drive back before the start of the planned event, as the food was the last thing set up before guest arrive.

My choice for grocery and pharmacy. Excellent service and grocery selection. The best management and service crew in the two GiantEagle stores here. The pharmacists keep track of me and automated texting for refills is so convenient. Friendly professional pharmacists are always ready to answer any question I have and automated refill reminders are helpful. Their bonus perks option is legendary and trending.
