Hit or miss. Today (March 2022) I opted for the “daily special” turkey panini for $10. It LITERALLY has 2 slices of turkey in it and didn’t include potato salad as posted.
We’ve gotten other food there before and it’s usually pretty good, it we have had other tiny, meh sandwiches from them about 30% of the time. Not sure what’s going on.

The pirogies are great (note that they don’t taste exactly like traditional authentic polish pierogis, the ones from hamtramck, you know!) but they’re still good. I also recommend the Athena salad, the dressing for it tastes a little like traditional fattoush dressing - I add black beans for vegetarian protein and its delicious (pictured). I got this salad carry-out on 10.11.21, my friend had chicken on his. As you can see in my photos, the large size to-go container is a giant portion.

Good food and lots of heart. I felt compelled to write a review. I ordered lunch from Christine's yesterday not realizing they were holding their fundraiser where 100% of the profits were donated to support Ukraine. It gained a ton of publicity for a small kitchen and there were long wait times as a result. I heard a lot of rude comments while waiting, some under breath, many made directly to the staff. But the staff powered through fulfilling orders and never responding negatively. The food was delicious as always and worth the wait.

🇺🇦Support Ukraine 🇺🇦 & the foods good
There's a bit of a diner feel but the food is honestly significantly more upscale than that might suggest. Very nice variety of foods from all of Europe. Specialize in Ukrainian food. Would recommend 👍❤️
We actually ended up here as a bit of a happy accident. A nearby place we were planning on dining in had closed their seating. I hadn't appreciated eastern European in the past due to a potato aversion. But this place has such a fantastic blend that even with that knocking out some staples I still had plenty of options to choose from.

Poor customer service. I am done with this place. I ordered food for the whole office back in November. When I came in to pick it up, it was $30 more than I had calculated. They had recently increased their prices but didn’t update their website. The employee seemed irritated with me for being bothered. I had already collected money from everyone at work. I didn’t feel like I could just leave without the food because the whole office was expecting lunch and I didn’t want to make a fuss so I just paid.
Again, last week I ordered a bomb burrito for myself. (I had previously been told the website was updated) Apparently not. Every item’s price was updated correctly except the bomb burrito? and they charged me $2 more than was listed on the online menu! The employee acted like she didn’t know anything about the website problem but I find that hard to believe since she showed me that it’s also incorrectly priced on their in house menu and they scribbled over the price with marker. This employee was rude and just seemed annoyed that I was even questioning it.
I don’t have a problem with raising prices. I get it. but their online pricing is misleading and they don’t do anything to give customers a heads up until they’re picking up their food and are on the spot. I think they’re hoping people won’t notice and will just pay the higher price. They clearly don’t care about keeping customers.

The Pierogies was delicious. My wife ordered the combo platter with sausages, bread sauerkraut with onions. I ordered 10 pierogies with potatoes pancakes with side of apple sauce. Our 1st time there and the food the was Bussin, the place was clean and staff was friendly and nice. Our favorite new spot now for homemade fresh food.

I went, planning to get a Ukrainian meal, but they had a Friday special - Shrimp Po'Boy sandwich (one of my favorites!)...so I'll go back for a Ukrainian meal! The sandwich was delicious! And friendly service!

1st visit. We saw the restaurant on the local news and decided to check it on our next trip to Ferndale. Well worth it. Food and service were excellent. We even got a couple of live plants to support the Ukrainian community.
