Backstretch Buffet

We went for the lunch buffet and not only was the selection very limited but the food was not good. The only thing I enjoyed was the fried chicken. All the rolls were hard, the banana pudding didn't really have a taste at all. It was strange. The parmesan chicken was very dry. They only had hot dogs or kielbasa for the grilled food. My husband waited forever for them to refill the ravioli and then it was disappointing in taste as well. The tops of a lot of the food was dry and crusty like it had been sitting there a while. There wasn't any type of fish or other seafood beside muscles that were not good tasting. The other desserts I tried tasted off as well. I'm guessing the ice cream might have been ok but I was tired of trying. I have never been so disappointed in a buffet before. Oh and I am not a picky person either.

The food is very good. I have a food request. Is there a possibility of having some boneless, skinless chicken maybe stuffed with something. For us Diabetics. Plus a sign above your egg rolls (area) if those items do or don't have seafood. For those of us that are allergic to shellfish. It would be helpful. Lately past couple time I was there. The lady cutting up the sausages was a bit rude. She made you feel you couldn't get another piece. And wouldn't bring out another fresh piece of meat until the first piece was done. Well I didn't want an end piece. Another time the lady working the salad area was rude. She said you got to wait I'm working on it. She told another lady here's a utensil for that, people keep swoping out the utensils. Very rudely. Listen. They need to put a smile on there face and keep opinions to themselves. Thank you for listening curious on your opinion , especially about the chicken.

We ate here for the first time. The food was good - prime rib and roasted turkey. The buffet was clean and the food was promptly replenished. Unfortunately the ice cream was not real cold. Our waitress was extremely efficient and very cheerful; a positive employee for her employer. She kept our beverages refilled, and talked to us about the features of the property. We hope to return again soon!

Used to go on Friday nights to gamble and then enjoy the all you could eat crab legs. Not one to get out much, but always looked forward to Friday night at the downs. Almost a 2 hour drive for me and it's just not worth going anymore. Not that much of a gambler so without the legs don't have a reason to go there anymore. Sorry. Why did you end the crab legs? 😞

The food was very hit and miss. I would never go back. Even though it's only 9.99 with the card I wouldn't pay 2$ for it. I went with 5 people total and not one of us enjoyed it. The table cleaners/ waitress had no personality and didnt stick around when we tried to ask her something.. noone smiled.. I watched one waitress fill someone's drink put a couple cherries in it then she ate some right out of the same container.

Thank you for the free veterans meal, but like always they never plan right. 630 pm out of prime rib, no gravy on line and out of a few items on buffet. Some people had to pay and all they paid for was kielbasa, and ham. Maybe get someone in that knows how to run buffet. People who pay same price at 830 pm should have the right to all of buffet items if not then lower the buffet price after a certain time. I'd give it a half a star but didn't see it.
