Has Not been pleased at all. I have lived in Brazos county, Texas for almost 10 years but those are not Brazos taco, not Tex-mex taco, not even close. And the service is not okay, I even got the wrong food! The atmosphere and decor is good tho, especially the outdoor seating area.

We got there late (30 mins before closing) and I was underwhelmed. Breakfast taco had mashed potatoes, not what I'm used to in a breakfast taco and taste was bland. Guisada taco was better, but still just okay. Carne asada was the best of the three I got. Pretty good.

This place serves the best tacos I've eaten outside Mexico. The sweet potato version was especially yummy. I really liked their agua fresca too. We sampled several tacos, all stellar: perfect ratio of filling to shell, the corn and flour tortillas were fresh and delicious in their own right, and the patio is very nice. Just go there!

I'm a Texan from Austin and these tacos were on point! I only got a couple of the vegetarian tacos, so can't say anything on their meat, but I definitely felt like I would find this shop back home. Flour tortillas were great. Very impressed! Also got a local pilsner beer that was delicious 👌

Tacos were tasty. Many varieties, which is fun. My disappointment was in the watermelon juice. They put some type of sweetening syrup in it they had to shake up to blend because it separated. Yuck. It's so good alone. Curious to try some breakfast tacos though.

I love to frequent Brazos for their fun menu. I’ve had a few things I’ve enjoyed and a few things that were meh, but that was a personal meh. The outdoor seating is great. When IX is hopping, you’ll be close enough to join but far enough to enjoy your meal. I can’t give it 5 stars because of the margaritas. They’re strong margaritas but the mix is too sweet and artificial tasting. There’s definitely room for improvement there. I’ve always found the staff to be efficient, even when they’re swamped.

True to its name these are real Texas tacos! Absolutely delicious (Carne asada especially). In addition to the food the outdoor eating area under the starting lights is super charming.
Wish we had had some time to walk around the area as there was a live performance happening over in the playground/park area next door.

Fast work from the kitchen. The three different salsa (free) were all so good, and were honestly the best thing from the place. Their menu seems long but there’s no creativity in the tacos and it’s honestly hard to find one that we were interested in. The beef in the Asado taco was so hard to chew and I was so disappointed. The “star-nitas” was way sweeter than I thought it was going to be and didn’t taste great. The guacamole was also very boring. Not sure we would come here again for anything but the chips and salsa.
