Avalon Brew Pub

My friends and I came into town for a girls weekend and stumbled upon this spot when searching for a good place to grab beers, sandwiches, and salads. Boy, I’m glad we did! Yes, the food was delicious (the turkey Rueben, y’all—omg!!), the beer tasty (woa, the amber was great!), and the atmosphere fabulous (the keg ceiling is so cool!), but the highlight was the service. Sue was incredible. She was efficient, professional, and oh-so-friendly. She had terrific suggestions for beer and food. We all could tell that she was a favorite server—another couple came in and was excited that she was there and greeted her by name. We so enjoyed our dining experience at Avalon pub and grill. We told Sue that she was the best server we’d had all weekend, and it was the absolute truth. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed everything about this place. We wish the weather would have been nicer so we could hang outside, but everything was comfortable inside. Super nice waiter. Everything was well kept and clean and updated. We had the pepperoni pizza and it had delicious flavor and a great crust! We wished we had just ordered one for my husband and myself. It is marketed as a 9” personal pizza, but there were 6 pieces and we had way too much! Not over or undercooked. The drinks were fun and delicious.

The service and food were both very good and everything was quick and efficient. Our bartender Nick was friendly and greeted us as soon as we sat down. The fish and chips were crispy and fresh. The fish tacos were seasoned well even though I would’ve preferred fried fish on them. It felt a bit pricy but perhaps that’s just food costs now. The atmosphere was nice and it was easy to get a seat.
