I am a local, and have recieved numerous faciels in many places, and Angeline is hands down THE BEST. She recommends face care for you, but is not pushy. Her head, neck, and face massage is better then any massage therapist I have been to, and my face is luminous when I leave her. I wish I could afford for her to be my personal facielist, lol. My mom and I came here for a girl's spa day trip. I was a little hesitant when I saw that the spa was in a house but it was beautiful and cozy. We had Jen for massages and Cassie for facials. Both ladies were very professional and super friendly. They made sure we were comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely return if I lived in the area!

Illusions Day Spa is indeed a hidden gem in western NC! I know that Asheville has lots of options for every price range. However as a working wife and mom, I want the best service for the best price. And I found it. For the quality, high value, and personal touch, I received today, I truly recommend Illusions Day Spa. When I walked into the restored home, Freda greeted me like an old friend. The first floor was a cozy atmosphere. Freda listened to my concerns and made great recommendations for my nail services. I appreciated the time and energy she took to make an out of town visitor feel welcomed. Fyi- Based on her knowledge of the city, I have a new list of vacation ideas to compliment my spa day. My manicure and pedicure left my skin very smooth and gave my nails a classic but shimmering look. The pampering didn’t stop there. The massage services were upstairs, and the second floor was charming, quiet, and inviting. My massage therapist Josh was excellent! Those sore, tight, and tense muscles (courtesy of a car accident and those long days in front of the work computer) surrendered to Josh’s skillful hands and therapeutic techniques. Unfortunately I cannot give too many more details because I fell asleep. However I do know I awoke refreshed and so happy that I chose this spa over the others. When they asked how the massage was, I simply responded that I would be taking Josh back home with me. Although that didn’t happen, I left Illusions feeling like Anita before the long work days and the work-life balancing act. For that I am very grateful. Thanks Illusions Day Spa!

My friend and I came and both got the spa package number 2. From the moment we came in we felt welcomed. Every staff member is very professional, nice, and courteous. The facial left our skin glowing, the massage was complete bliss, and I can honestly say it was the best pedicure I have ever received. Loved the experience and will definitely return again!
