Cooky's Bar & Grill

Stopped in hoping to grab a bite, but kitchen was closed on Sunday. Friendly bartender, parking across the street in lot. Good drink prices, bands on weekends. Menu looked very reasonable, will be back to try the food. Very unassuming from the outside, but a nice, friendly hometown crowd. Bigger inside than it appears from the outside.

This local bar is a cool, cozy spot with a big accommodating bar and a decent menu of pub grub. The real draw for me was the live music scene here which is always happening. Local bands will come and play music for hours with no cover fee. Saw Ruckus the Band here and they never disappoint. I had a plate of the Super Nachos which were massive and delicious. The clam plate looked great also though the portions were smaller than anticipated. Very friendly and welcoming staff made you feel like you could stay for hours. I'll definitely keep this place in mind when looking for a hangout spot.

I haven't been here in a couple yrs. My girl and I went tonight, she had prime rib and tested like Chuck roast. I had the worst fried clam plate that I have ever eaten, the better was so thick,that you couldn't taste the clams.there were 10 clams for 17.99, would never go back there sgain. Waitress was to busy on cell phone to thank us for the tip.
