Kay's Restaurant

Been close to two decades since I last visited Kay’s and I forgot how much I enjoy this place. Brought my very critical 85 yo mom and she raved about our lunch when we got back to her assisted living home. We started with their chicken and lentil soup. Mom then had the chicken pot pie special and I went with a Reuben. We wrapped things up with their grape it pudding. All were outstanding and the grape nut pudding was one of if not the best I have eaten. The indoor portion of the restaurant is very nicely appointed and has the feel of a higher end pub, with its subdued lighting and smaller windows. Also a very nice separate bar area for grabbing a drink with friends or family. Definitely won’t wait another couple decades to go back. Enjoyed all aspects of our experience.

If your looking for a place to go with friendly staff and great food check this place out! Kay's has the igloos! Service is quick and friendly! Ask for the waitress Katelyn she was awesome! Recommended and posted the lasagna and woah that lobster grilled cheese was more like a mountain! Turkey sandwich and Ruben was loaded as well. Definately worth checking out!

I grew up at kays and got see all their changes. And this last one is by far the worse. They are bringing in all new dishes and in doing so there signature sandwich the steak and cheese has gone to hell. I’ve gotten way to many bad one than good ones now. And at 12.75 it is so not worth it. My trip there was by far the worse and it will be awhile before I go back. I’ve told many and have taken many there for there sandwich, and now I have nothing good to say about them. Kay would not be happy!!!!!

Great local place to go for lunch or early dinner! Great sandwiches and salads! The new igloos are perfect for social distancing and the cold weather! Heated inside the igloos and dry right across the street from the restaurant! This is a great idea except for the fact that we can't keep the servers dry🤷‍♀️.. and there was no handicap accessible entrance. Which is actually very important for us because Dad's 74 and uses a walker or a wheelchair. Yesterday it was the walker and we parked in handicapped and he used his walker to walk around the front side (on the grass for a bit)of the entrance to the igloos. However if you're using a wheelchair I don't see how you'll be able to get in.. so call them First😁
