Burger Jim

OMG so, soooooo good! It's our 2nd time here and they do not disappoint! Mine was the Sunday special HotJack w/the fries and the other 2 were Jim Burgers (1 w/o onions). Fries are just perfect! This place comes highly recommended from the locals and is very poplar for their Chinese food! Yes, seriously, they offer Chinese food as well but we haven't tried it....yet! Today was extra great because we witnessed the whole crew prep for their dinner rush....they were standing in a circle HAND FORMING the burger patties! Can't get better than that!

Clean inside. Food is top notch, had the P-town Blue burger with an egg on top. Best burger I've had in some time. The egg sealed the deal. Deep fried mushrooms were good, not greasy and could taste mushroom. Never had nor heard if a Philly cheese egg rolls until I seen it on the menu, soooo had to try and WOW, tastey AF! My companion had the Shroom burger with and egg on top and she too was happy with the burger, stating it is delicious, the fries were good as I sampled some of hers. Highly recommend eating here to one and all. 👍👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Customer Service is 11/10. Friendly staff, they had such great attitudes. Food could be bad and I'd give them 5 stars just for the folks working. But the food was delicious and keto friendly (upon request) for my dinner date. Very happy we ended up there! I'll definitely recommend it for people in the valley. 👍👍

I am in Arizona and Ordered My husband and his co worker who is in Wasilla working a burger and fries, and 2 egg rolls. And they said this is the best burger and fries they have had in a long time. Very Fresh and Hot!! Great phone service and delivered right on time. I will be calling again to order them dinner and they will stop by also for food. They didn't send me pictures

I don't give 5 stars often... So 4 is pretty good! Probably wouldn't drive all the way out here from Eagle River but if I'm in the area I'll definitely stop by (although as I'm writing this a week later I'm still reminiscing about the rice...🤔) Intrigued by the description of burger and Chinese food and pleasantly surprised! Ordered Jim's burger and made it a special with fries and drink and a shrimp fried rice. Both portions are good sized and not expensive for what we got (I feel like that's a first for be in Alaska ). My partner said burger was good and juicy. My fried rice had the best wok chi aroma and good amount of shrimp! I usually don't eat very salty so surprised to need to add soy sauce but it was even more awesome with the addition!

I don't often stop here for a meal, since it's several miles from home, but I'm always glad when I do. On this occasion, I had an hour to kill between finishing work and having to be at a training class. Burger Jim is a natural choice over Subway, which is right next door. They're menu has a lot of variety, they are custom orders (like mine) as if it was nothing new. The staff are friendly, very efficient, and obviously work well together as a team. But more importantly, my dinner was delivered quickly, seemingly hot, without mistakes, and was delicious. Add to that their generous portion sizes, and this is a win all around

If we had been able to dine in I'd have requested my money back. We were told they didn't do dine-in due to lack of staff but had 8 people in the small kitchen and we were the only customers ... 🧐 We both ordered regular cheese burgers and fries. Our burgers were so bland the only flavor on the whole thing was the pickles. We each got a sliver of a tomato and a whole salad bowl of lettuce for veggies. The burgers seemed like the were boiled rather than grilled. They were soggy, floppy, and gross. We couldn't finish eating them. More food went in the trash than our stomachs. 🤢 After reading reviews seems like Burger Jim is better at dressing up fries than making burgers. 😐

Food is expensive, but pretty damn good. The huge issue I have is the fact that I paid almost $40 for Chinese lunch for 3 people and they have the gall to charge me $0.50 per serving of sweet and sour sauce. It is in my opinion that if you get Chinese food, sweet and sour sauce should be included. That’s ridiculous. Edit: I will say, however, their food is so damn good, I won’t stop going there.
