Shiva guest house ma skvelou polohu par metru (ulicek) od gangy a vseho co clovek chce navstivit. Naramny vyhled ze stresni terasy, kde se da i dobre najist. Pokoje jsou ciste a v hezkem indickem stylu, stejne jako cely guest house. Paradne horka sprcha bez problemu. Majitele i personal jsou vstricni a mili, v cemkoliv napomocni. Kdykoliv se ubytuji znovu. Shiva guest house is great place to stay if you are in Varanasi. Location is 2 minutes walk to Ganga river and you have also great view from roof top terace to Ganga in one side and roofs of Varanasi on the other side. Rooms are very clean, nice, in indian style with the best hot shower in India we met. You can have a delicius breakfast or lunch, dinner in Shiva roof top restaurant as well. Perfect place to stay and everything is near from here. Stuff is realy nice and helpfull. I definitely recommend and I'd like to come back. Thank you and see you.

Absolutely the best place to stay in varanasi! Extremely clean, great food, lots of hot water, excellent fan and AC, warm kind family run guest house. Shiva is very knowledgeable about the area and will do anything he can to help. We booked 2 nights, however on arriving we booked a further 5 nights as we just felt so at home! The location is perfect. 'Moon' took us for the sunrise boat trip and looked after us very well. If you're looking for somewhere to stay look no further ... and book!!!

Shiva Guesthouse was the best place I've stayed in India. The owners of the place are the most friendly people who care a lot about their guests having a good time. You can ask them anything and will always get honest answers and advice. The room was clean, the water was warm, the location is great - nothing to to complain about at all. Highly recommend!
