Right on the river Ganges, Ashish café was a regular spot for me in Varanasi. The food is delicious, excellent value, and hygienic. I strongly recommend the chocolate and banana pancakes!

We went to this restaurant three times in Varanasi! Why? Because there was a nice service, great food and a lot of choice. It's the first place in India that had as well good Western as Indian food. Nice!

When we came to Varanasi, this place was close to our hotel so we visited it in our first day for lunch. Supringsly the food was so delicious that we came back 2 more times!! Also lovely staff and brown bread!! I really recommend the fruit with yoghurt and muesli, the homemade pizza and the french toast.

Amazing food and great little spot overlooking the river. Omelette, fresh homemade bread, and a fruit bowl. Everything was lovely and affordable.

Our favourite breakfast spot. Their fruit curd and honey, and brown bread toast was a welcome break from Indian food. Lovely spot with ganga view. Budget friendly, wholesome food. Very prompt delightful service. Highly recommended.
