China Town Restaurant

I can understand why people say that's $7.50 is too much for the variety that they offer. I am not about to compare them to some of the ones that I have gone to en Dallas or in Garlandbecause that would not be a fair comparison but overall it was a decent place to try and the food to me tasted great.

The $6.99 lunch buffet is a winner. Tasty, fresh traditional Chinese buffet fare. The hot and sour soup is great. The place was full on a Friday afternoon but our party of four Sat right away and had a nice lunch. A little more spice couldn't hurt, but the place was clean and the service was kind and attentive.

I have no idea how this restaurant gets high markings. I only gave one star because the food was just barely edible and has probably been sitting out since lunchtime - it's almost 4 p.m. I had asked if I could have some more fried chicken wings, they just kind of gave me a rolling eye look and of course, they never came out. Maybe it's better after 5 when they have to throw everything away and make everything new again. This will be on my "never again visit" list..

Used to go there because it was cheap for a buffet with a tiny selection. Now it's 7.50 whether you get a to go box or sit down and eat. For 2 dollars more you can get a much better/bigger selection at another buffet in town. Oh, don't try to fill that to go box up or it will cost you another 2 dollars anyway.

You're always greeted with a smile when you enter. For the price, it's hard to beat. The selection is fairly small, but what they do have is pretty good. Good people and good service all the time. Don't show up later than 8, the food is never hot because they close at 9. They rotate their dishes pretty often around lunch and dinner. All in all, if you get water, you can have all you can eat for about $6 plus some desert like ice-cream or pudding. It beats just about any fast food in this town.

I love Chinese food more than any other foods out there and this place takes a special spot in my ♥! Been there sooooooooo many times that I've lost count of the # of times I've eaten here. So many memories there! Love their noodles and there veggie stir fry & their soft serve vanilla & chocolate u can dish up urself!

We walked in around 3 in the after noon and there was no one there. The waitress was not inviting, no smile, just have a seat. The food looked alright so we thought we would try since we are new in the area and love Chinese food. It was cold, tasted alright but not fresh and when i tasted the sweet and sour sauce it was bad. It tasted like vinegar or like it was rancid and should have been thrown out. When I told the waitress all she could say was "oh". She told the cashier who I assume is the owner and it was not taken off the buffet. We will not be back for fear of food poisoning.
