Backporch Drafthouse

March 26, 2022 Saturday night out we enjoyed our food and drinks at Back Porch. Convenient location right next to the cinema. The nachos were Great and the burger was Fantastic! Seated at a large comfortable booth that could accommodate 6. They did not skimp on air conditioning either. Many people were enjoying the outdoor patio.

Not busy. Took about 10 minutes to be seated as no staff were around. Had 3 total tables seated. A few people in the bar. Fries and wings were cold, celery was hot. Server disappeared several times. Not sure what kind of cheese was used on the cheese fries but it tasted like lightly, spiced, American cheese barely melted over cold fries.

Nachos looked nothing like they use to when Dan still owned this place. Not enough queso to cover the chips. Sat at the bar and watched as the whole time we were there a guy stood by the well and harassed every server who came to pick up her drinks. No said anything to this douche. It was loud and the drinks were underwhelming, the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars because at least the bar tenders were friendly.

The food tasted good. The service wasn't great. The host wasn't rude but she seemed bothered that people were walking in, threw the marker and walked off then turned around and said follow her. The waitress had a better attitude but not very observant. My side order was sweet potato fries which is an extra charge, I'm fine with the extra charge if they actually brought the sweet potato fries. The waitress didn't catch the mix up and I'm not one to send food back or make a big deal about it, other then an honest review and choice to not come back.. the place looks great open well lit and clean and the food tastes good. Also you can't see your check until after you pay for it so I couldn't point out the extra charge I got for the fries I never received. Hopefully they make the right changes and then it will be a better place to go to.

Back Porch Drafthouse has been around since 2008 and this is the first time hearing about it! Great pub and bar selection with tons of TVs to catch the games. The brunch on Saturday and Sunday is where it’s at! I got the big a$$ chicken biscuit that was delicious with fries and then off course I needed to get the chips and queso. Great patio seating. Go get some food there now!
