China Super Buffet

WARNING!!! I highly suggest everyone to find a different restaurant to eat at. I understand that working in a food place is hard, but this was downright despicable. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience at a restaurant that it prompts me to write a review! But this is a Public Service Announcement. Let's begin. Before we were even seated, we were asked what beverages we would like, and while we were gone, our drinks were put on the table. Sounds fine right? Well, we only saw a waiter once. No one to check on how we're doing or how the food is, simple questions, nothing. Next, I was eager to try the sushi, they have some delicious looking pictures of sushi everywhere, yet when I stood in from of the sushi area, I was disappointed to say the least. The sushi looked sad, and tasted very stale. And the rolls with avocado must've been made in the morning because the avocado was old and brown (we were there at 5pm). I already didn't have much of an appetite but when I stuck my spoon of strawberry dessert in my mouth--it immediately turned me off. There was MOLD on it. I then checked the rest of them, and they ALL HAD MOLD. I wish I had taken more pictures because there's no way this place should be in service. It was generally dirty everywhere. Additionally, my friend said the bathrooms looked nasty. And as a final note, the corn was gross. The crab and shrimp were cold. And if you have health issues or are sensitive to certain foods, I really do believe this food would make you sick. This is some Kitchen Nightmares sh*t y'all!

I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in three years but I must say the experience at the SCB was great. The food was tasty and all of the chicken and shrimp dishes were appetizing. I wish they could have offered more vegetable dishes, but overall, the selections were broad and satisfied my hunger. They need to increase their selection of breads and desserts, and the soups need an upgrade. Other than that, I will be returning in the bear future.

This is really a very fair priced buffet, but understand, it is basic quality and not high end. There is a very fair amount of sushi roll choices along with sashimi but to be honest, I am a bit afraid to eat sashimi at such a place. Don't get me wrong, it is probably safe, but I am picky when eating raw fish. It better look great and hopefully be great!, before I eat it!
