Mb Grille

We took a family trip to the Reagan Library and wanted to have lunch nearby. I saw good reviews for the MB Grill. It’s Market Broiler, a chain restaurant. It’s a nice looking place with a very nice staff. The food is unremarkable. They feature seafood but it’s not fresh but frozen so it’s rubbery and lacks flavor. The clam chowder is commercially made. It would tasted the same at Chilis, Red Robin, Outback, etc. The Jambalaya lacked spice and flavor. Lunch for three was $70.00 with no drinks, no dessert. Actually, for a trip to the Reagan Presidential Library, it was the perfect place for lunch. Conservative and bland.

This is a great place to eat and spend time catching up with friends after the pandemic. We have had Debbie & Ali as our servers for the last couple of times and they were outstanding at making us feel right at home. The food is great with a generous happy hour menu and the service is great so this is one of our favorite eateries.

Good seafood and great happy hour specials make this a popular place that is usually busy. Some of the appetizers are hit or miss, but the entrées are always solid, and the fish tacos and oysters are winners. Very good and attentive service, as well. For a "chain," fish place, you can't do much better for the price.
