Nine Drayton

Came here looking for z2. Instead I Found a much more elegant and fine dinning experience with Nine Drayton. I got 2 appetizers that were half price at the timethe piroshki which wasn't to my taste it was good but didn't stand out. However I also got the bowl of mussels and to my suprise the flavor was great but the quality of the mussels were the best they weren't chewy or tangy they fell out the shell and broke apart with ease. I was then offered to try their gumbo "soup of the day" and to be honest it was perfect the scallops fell apart the flavor was something new every taste. I think the lack of noodles or rice in the soup made it even better. A little on the pricey side a average of $27 per entree.

The atmosphere was just as good as the food at this little known new gem. The Beef Stephanie was fantastic as was the seafood/spinach/artichoke dip. Extensive wine list. Mike, the pianist/vocalist really completed the perfect ambiance in this intimate venue with exposed brick, fireplace, and great lighting. We'll be back.

This place is a little gem for this nice city. I had the special and it was amazing! Beef Stephanie which is a filet topped with crab meat and wrapped in a puff pastry served with red potatoes. I also recommend the avocado eggrolls for an appetizer. Our server Louis was very nice and helped make my dinner with the wife an amazing night!
