Campus Kabob

My x boss would say to mention the good before the bad. Well, potion size was good, onion rings where not greasy, mozz sticks where good too. Ok now for the bad. Fish was over cooked aka burnt, spices didn't work for the fish. They used tzatziki sauce on the fish sandwich. Frys where not to salty and they where neither chrispy or soggy.

This is one of my favorite gyro place in town. They have a small selection of Indian / Pakistani food such as Paneer or Chicken Tikka (which is Indian cheese/chicken curry). I love Star of India but the price is almost half at Slide In Mart. The rice is more flavorful and aromatic. Their small grocery section has many ethnic options such as Indian Paratha break and frozen Naan that you can warm up very easily at home. Service was very fast and it was not so crowded. Love the owner. Very nice guy from NY.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The naan bread is warmed right in front of you and comes out toasty warm- there is no comparison! They have a wide variety of rice dishes- all with warm, flavorful sauces and every kind of sandwich and kabob you can think of. They even sell prepackaged spices so you can make masala and other dishes at home. I highly recommend this place and I will be back!

Ordered from here using food dudes and I was super impressed with their careful packaging unlike some other places I have ordered from where the Styrofoam is crushed or leaking . We also tried the lamb gyro and chicken tikka masala which both were yummy and fresh. The cheese fries were different with a sweetness to them but I am sure I will be craving them again. :-)

We came to see hockey game at SCSU recently. On our way we need it gas so we pulled in to the Shell station which was right next to parking lot. when we entered the store we realized there was a small restaurant / seating area inside. What ever they were cooking it smelled amazing. We decided to stay for a quick bite. Half the menu was Indian food and other half had wraps and burgers/fries. I had chicken tikka masala with naan bread (which the baked right in front of me). My husband had lamb gyro naanwich. It was Fantastic......as we waited for our food they gave us couple of samples of veggie Samosas to try. It was great experience. We will return soon. Only negative is that there was no sign to let people know.
