Dippin Donuts

The only time I go to Dippin, is if Kathy is working. She's such a pleasure to deal with and super friendly! Other workers always mess up my coffee and are rude. I went last night and I'm pretty sure they are still open until 11, sat at the speaker for 10 mins with no answer with a lot of people sitting outside enjoying their coffees. Drove by the window and there's a worker with a headset on. Horrible business if Kathy is not working!!!

The donuts are good. Some are a little too much sugar for me, but that's just my taste. They seem to run out early, particularly at the remote locations. I guess that's the don't business, but I work nights and it would be nice to be able to go in and reliably get a snack in the evening. My biggest issue though is that the political atmosphere makes me feel petty unwelcome. I don't particularly care about left, right, whatever. But when I'm going to get a snack and I just want to breath, the last thing I want to do is be surrounded by political messaging. I'm not even saying I disagree with the message entitely. I'm just so tired of the insane state of the world, and that's not at all what I'm trying to get into while I'm eating donuts. It's just strange that it even has to be said really... Why alienate more than half of your customer base like that? Odd decision... The donuts are alright though...
