Panera Bread

Well, I never thought I would have to write this but today pushed me over the limit. Today I was looking for a quick and easy lunch for my kids since they were off of school. We decided the best option was Panera. I ordered and specifically stated that I wanted no sauce/mustard on any of the sandwiches I ordered. Apparently they decided to wake up today and ruin our lunch. My daughter has an extreme allergy to many sauces including mustard. Luckily I checked her sandwich and saw the mustard. My daughter was very sad and this was not the first time the occurred. I don’t know if we will end up returning, but this experience has made me very upset and if we do return I guess I will have to make it even more clear that I don’t want any sauce. Please pay more attention to what your customers order.

Most of my experiences at Panera have been good. Good food and service. This time very disappointing, paid an extra dollar to add avocado on the sandwich and it is disappointing what I got. Two tiny slices!!!!! The egg on the sandwich looked like half an egg. Normally I wouldn't have complained, but this time quality was mediocre.

With the spread of COVID-19, one must be careful when using gloves around food and money. As I watched the young gentlemen prepare other customers food he failed to take his gloves off while preparing food, giving back change and touching the register. I asked nicely if he could change his gloves before he touched my bagel-which he much obliged. The moral of the story cross contamination is on the rise-please use caution around food.
