Billy's

Decided on an anniversary lunch at Billy's. Ashley was our waitress. She was pleasant and personable and took good care of us. Surprised us with anniversary key lime pie for dessert. Very thoughtful. We had shrimp and grits and Billy's club. Both were delicious. Appetizers were bacon wrapped scallops (so tender and yummy) and the crab cakes (also very good) The cocktail was a cucumber drink that I cannot remember the name of. Ashley recommended it when I asked about it and she was right on the money. It was refreshing and delicious. All in all --a very nice lunch and reminded me what a nice restaurant Billy's is. We definitely need to come more often!!! Thanks for a very nice anniversary lunch

I had the pasta and chicken, which was quite tasty. I had the crab cake for an appetizer - to be honest, if I had it again I would forgo the bed of succotash upon which it was served. I prefer a crispy exterior which was lost from the moisture of the vegetable bed. Kim tried the stuffed tortellini stroganoff, and she always seems to make the best picks! The sides were small but well prepared. We were well stuffed so we took the limoncello cake home and I had a great breakfast treat in the morning! I tried the sparkling rose from Portugal and it was a fine value. The wine list, while not overwhelming has some nice choices. All the staff were top drawer. Go. Enjoy.

Great restaurant in downtown Roanoke! We made a reservation, and they were able to seat us early, which was really nice. Our server was excellent, very attentive, especially since we had 4 kids with us. The Spicy Crab and Corn Chowder was some of the best soup I've ever had. I got the Prime Rib and my wife got the NY Strip, both were very good. Nice wine and drink supercross l selection too! Dress code was casual and they had some good options for the kids. Kids meals were only $5! This was a great family friendly find!

While staying in the US on business travel, last night decided to join some friends of mine, who are local guys and they picked the BILLY'S. They told me it's a nice restaurant with dome good stuff. So I definitely needed to try and see whether they were right.😉👍🏻 First we ordered some appetizers, like parmesan cheese with prosciutto ham and slices of bread, and also oysters. And we also did try some fried scallops wrapped in bacon. And this starter was a blast!! Really good.🥓👌🏻 Afterwards I had a salad with honey dressing and eventually... the star of the night...😜... Lamb Shank!! The lamb was simply delicious snd tender! Meat literally was falling off the bone! Wow!🍗😋🔥👌🏻 It was served with risotto and stewed vegetables. 🍚🥗 And last but not least I decided to try Crème Brûlèe. It was ok but as for myself - was a bit too sweet. I'd like it less sweet. But overall it was a very nice experience and really lovely evening dpent at the Billy's.😎👍🏻

My wife & I came in for an anniversary dinner & had a great meal! The staff was polite & warm, & did their best to make our evening special. I had the prime rib, it was buttery, juicy & tender, I loved every bite! My wife had the seafood platter & loved it too! They even brought us a little champagne toast after we were done. Great experience, I highly recommend.
