Emergency Ribz

I tried Emergency Ribz for the first time today after receiving a recommendation from a co-worker. I am so glad I did, the food is phenomenal and the service is out of this world. The owners are genuinely kind and extremely hospitable. I ordered the chicken with baked beans and coleslaw, everything was absolutely delicious. Their BBQ sauce is amazing. The chicken is packed with flavor and grilled to perfection, the baked beans were awesome and the coleslaw is literally the BEST coleslaw I have ever had.I also tried their desserts the strawberry and banana “fluff cup” desserts both flavors are glorious. If you’re looking for authentic BBQ and delectable homemade sides and desserts, I highly recommend Emergency Ribz.

I was stuck in traffic on 301 heading south when I noticed this new BBQ joint. I decided to stop by and placed an order for a rib dinner and also a pulled pork dinner. Service was fast, and friendly! The food exceeded my expectations for BBQ as everything was tender, juicy, and full of flavor! I was mad I didn’t order extra sides. I definitely would recommend to my friends and family if your are looking for some good BBQ in Riverview, FL. 👌🏽

Only place I could find in the whole of Tampa Bay via internet search that serves BBQ beef ribs. Great customer service, if it is your first time they insist you try all of their sides before you order. They offer greens, baked beans, Cole slaw, spicy green beans, and macaroni with cheese. I had the beef ribs, which are only available on Saturdays, with the Mac and spicy green beans. The sauce is kind of like a mixture of Eastern Carolina style mustard sauce and Western Carolina style spiced vinegar. Not what I would normally pair with beef, but it works well with their rub. I bet it is amazing on their pork offerings. Currently no dine-in, take out only, but they do have a picnic table out front. I was going to knock off a star because of the short hours, but decided against it because everything was so good. As for those short hours, they are only open from 11:00 to 19:00 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I'll be hitting this place up again on my next pay day to try the rest of the meats.

Great service at this cute takeout. The ribs are smoky, tender, tingling hot and not covered in a sticky sweet mess of sugar sauce. If this is your style don't hesitate! Original sides including delicious collard greens, mac and cheese, baked beans and green beans. Only open 3 days a week. If you prefer beef go on Saturday. Highly recommend!!

Of the thousands of cites across the country, who would have thought that the best BBQ in the country would be found right here in Riverview, FL. The ribs and chicken are to die for; rich with flavor, juicy, and don't get me started on the sides. As a first time customer the owners let me sample ALL of the sides and let me just tell you, they are ALL amazing and my favorites; which makes picking 2 for a meal a bit difficult. Food aside, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. They treat you like family as soon as you walk through the door. I will definitely be back, many more times.

I’m so happy I finally made the time to stop by this place. No run-of-the-mill a barbecue here. All is home-cooked with lots of love and you can tell these are secrets I have been passed down for generations in these recipes. The sides are delicious and the owners are extremely friendly. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this place. At this point, they still have limited days that they are open, so make sure you check their website or Facebook before you just show up. Believe me, it’s worth the visit.
