My husband and I love this restaurant! The food is amazing! We’ve never had a bad meal here and we’ve been coming for years. The service is always superb! Gus and all the waitresses are always pleasant, attentive and thorough. But One of the best things about Fusilis is Linda! She is my favorite person there! She is always so warm, friendly, caring, attentive and fun! I always look for Linda when we go there! Love this place!

We enjoyed a delightful meal of chicken piccata, really fabulous every time, and broiled haddock ( cooked to perfection)with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was so delicious and such a treat to have such a wonderful lunch from a place close by…appreciate your efforts!! We will be back…Thank you!

3 strikes and you’re out! Let me explain, and start off by saying I just moved to Reading and bought my home across from this restaurant and REALLY wanted to like them but 3 consecutive bad experiences has made that impossible. First visit we are denied a spot in the bar despite the fact that more than half the tables were vacant, so we left. Second trip we only came over for a couple drinks but showed up a half hour before closing so were refused any service. It doesn’t take me but 10 minutes to whistle down a Guinness so this was obviously a bummer. Third visit was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The wife and I showed up early for drinks and were allowed to sit at the bar (hooray!) but were immediately accosted by the female bartender about ordering food. We said maybe later but after ordering our second round were told we needed to order food if we were going to stay so I said I’d order a pizza in a bit (planning to bring home to the kid) and this obviously irritated the bartender. When we attempted to order a third (and final) round of drinks the bartender asked us directly if we planned on eating or not, and “reminded” us this was a restaurant. She was beyond rude and it was extremely embarrassing, as if she thought we were planning on skipping out on paying the tab. Needless to say we ordered the pizza and paid our tab and left. Before leaving she attempted to tell us she didn’t mean to be rude, but all too little too late. I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone who wants to feel welcome in a new spot. Again, super bummed on all this cos I live directly across the street and was hoping to find “our” spot.

Me and my mom and my sister came here and we were hungry upon arrival and were excited because we had never tried this restaurant yet. When we sat down it took about 15-20 min for someone to even take our drink order. There seemed to be only one or two waitresses taking care of the entire restaurant. There were only six other tables in the dining room and wasn’t very busy at all. Our appetizer salad took about 30-35 min after our arrival. Probably won’t be back.

Granted it was fathers day and a but busy, however we had reservations for a party of 11. We were there for 3 and 1/2 hours. We saw parties come and go. There was even a larger party in the seperate room that was seated after us and left well before us. The mozzarella sticks were still frozen! The food was sub par and the bill was much higher than anticipated. I'm very disappointed. They should have not taken our reservation or been better prepared for us.

From the moment we walked in, everything felt off. They placed us on a dirty table while there were so many clean ones. The waitress was not polite at all. After thinking that the food will lift our spirits, I am sorry to say that it was so disappointing, without any flavor. The salad was OK but the pasta was less than al denté, and the clam chowder was the worst we had ever eaten anywhere. We paid and left.

No presentation with meatball appz. Looks like I got it from the cafeteria. It is sour...no other taste. Not even a basil just to make it more presentable. Sits in a little bowl full of sour sauce. I got jipped with 9 oz of wine. Order the appz to try it...nothing spectacular for an Italian restaurant. Very pricey for the quality of food. Scared to order anything else with the price when the meatballs is mediocre.The place looks trashy as you entered, but the bar is nice. The service is good.
