Howards Cafe

My wife and I each had the super with an orange juice.I had mine the way it comes with 2 bacon, 1 sausage patty, 1 ham, and homefries covered with gravy. I had my eggs over easy and took the choice of a biscuit. Kirsten got a ton of bacon instead of the ham and sausage, and got scrambled eggs. For her bread choice she got the rye toast, like she always does here. Both breakfasts were good, but neither of us could finish. Soo full. They also had a really good orange juice. I am not sure if it was fresh made or not, but it did have some pulp.

Love Howard's very friendly waitresses. Food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Has a bar for if you need a special drink with your meal. We like giving our business to the small guy instead of the chain restaurants who is over priced employees can care less where you eat just order and get out. Howard comes around to his customers welcoming them and ask if the food is ok he's very nice person. We've only been there about a dozen times or so. We still go to other restaurants. But we always end back in Howard's.

Best Gravy and Biscuits in town! We stopped in by mistake as we were leaving that hole in the wall flea market and spotted this place with a lady waiving a sign. The food was fresh and the place was clean. I am not sure what Leah that was leaving a review was talking about. Perhaps it was that time of the month for her :) Whatever the case the gravy was awesome and I can tell you for sure we will be back!

The other day I ordered an omelette around noon. It came with hash browns and white toast, as I ordered. The server was very prompt and understood I didn't like to wait. However, the omelette was not the best that I've had and I was unable to eat the hash Browns as they were not good, though it's hard to describe exactly why. The atmosphere is alright, seeming a little too bright and loud, rather than soft and cozy. The server I had also brought the check only a few minutes after I started eating, resulting in myself feeling rushed. Will probably give this place another chance in the future.

I read some of the reviews posted. This is a nice family owned place. It may not be perfect, but who is. The food is good, prices are right and service is good. It's clean and the decor is fresh. It might not be to everyone's liking, but what is now a days. Some people need to get over there selves and enjoy the little things.
