Wind Mill Diner

Amazing food. The chicken and rice soup is absolutely delicious. The sweet lady working is very kind and fast. She moves alot faster than you would think. Everything has came out perfectly spaced out. The salad is even good and it's hard to get me to add that. So thank you so much for the wonderful experience me and my family loved everything especially the service. We will be back for sure.

My family and I stopped here for an early dinner. We drove from Chicago after calling and asking what soup they had today. (Sunday) they said cream of chicken and rice and we were excited. Let me tell you they did not disappoint it was actually so good we ordered 3 more soups Togo after eating our delicious meals. So we will definitely be back thank you so much for the service and food. Our waiter was a sweet lady that was very attentive and efficient.

What a local treasure! I am visiting from Texas and am staying in an Air B&B, so having a “home cooked” meal is not likely…until I happened on the Windmill. Tonight’s special is Stuffed bell peppers with mashed potatoes and green beans. I haven’t had that meal since my Grandma was alive…25+ years ago. The peppers and green beans were amazing! Just like I remembered…I’ll be here for a few more weeks and guarantee they will see quite a lot of me. Oh! And a lovely woman works the register and a very nice man answered the phone. I’m full and have that warm, fuzzy, comfort food feeling! Thank you!

Under staffed, took an extremely long time to even get waited on, they never wrote down our order, when the food finally came it was not what we ordered. They dissapeared so we couldnt even complain, the steak that came out with the order was majority fat. Kinda pricey, asked for the bill and was told it was at the counter. Never even got to see the it. Was extremely unhappy with this dining experience. Not sure we will be back
