Subway

I go to the store all the time. It has a very welcoming staff, they already now my order and are very attentive. The have great cookies. I work in the mall and this is the place to go. It is very affordable compare to other places and every time you go there they are baking cookies. The manager is very helpful and friendly.

Subway sends promotional coupons via text and I've used them successfully before at this location. Today, Saturday, 7/23/16, around 110pm, the "manager with a grey shirt" refused to honor the present promotion. There were no signs posted about this supposed change in policy. I ended up paying full price, which is a little higher in this mall location. Subway franchisees should post prominently on their stores that they do not participate in Subway promotions so that customers who want to avail of the promotions can avoid this store and eat elsewhere. Subway also has stores that have free refills for their drinks and if the store doesn't offer free refills they prominently display it on their machines. This store has free drink refills, no sign that they don't, and we've refilled our drinks here before. When my niece and I went back to the store today, with Subway cups on hand, to wait for my wife who went to the restroom which was across this location, this "manager" rudely told us that "once the cups leave the store there's no more refills". A very odd policy but we were not there for the refills, but historically we can if we wanted to. I did not make a big deal out of any of these incidents because I didn't want to make a commotion that's not worth my time. I don't know if it's just me or the "manager" just picks on certain customers. I highly recommend that the franchisee post signs of their "store policies" or get rid of this "manager" because he just insulted and alienated a very loyal Subway customer. This store with this kind of "manager" deserves a negative star rating if there was one available.

It just goes to show you, you should check reviews for everything, including even a fast food restaurant. The staff was actually very nice. The prices were higher than most Subways which for the volume and location was probably not justified. Please understand, the absolute last thing I want to hear at the register after purchasing subs, snacks, and cookies is, "Our soda fountain doesn't have water". Are you kidding me? No, I am not purchasing bottled water. The next time someone in a restaurant says, "We don't have water in our restaurant" I am going to say, "Oh wow, I don't have money in my wallet". Please have your soda distributor snap on the water outlet.

This place has higher price than other subway restaurants, understandably so because of its location. But it's not acceptable when u cut down the amount of deli meats and toppings used in the sandwich, which happened EVERYTIME I went there. I always order the same sandwich with same toppings (Italian BMT on Italian herb and cheese with provolone) no matter which subway restaurant I go, so basically I am confident that I know exactly how much slices of deli meat and cheese goes in there. 4 ham, 6 salami, 6 pepperoni, and 4 slices of cheese. But EVERYTIME I go there they decide to take out 2 slices of salami and 2 slices of pepperoni. The bread is also very dry it tastes like it's been made the day before. I ordered the sandwich at 12 noon and they open at 10 AM. Theres no reason for the bread to be so dry if its freshly prepared like any other subway restaurants that i've been to. And don't even get me started with the veggie toppings, they are so stingy with it, it looks like theres more meat than the veggies. that's not too impressive considering u cut down on the standard amount of meat to begin with. It was my mistake to come back here but I won't be dining here again. And I am definitely telling all others to avoid this place.
