Another new restaurant for us. Overall it was a positive experience. The wait staff was great and very attentive. Was pretty disappointed the pretzel appetizer was not available. My wife is not into german food so she got chicken tender meal. They had a good breading on them and were fresh and crispy. The schnitzel was kinda bland but very well cooked. A couple helpings of mushroom gravy helped to offset lack of seasoning. The side salad was better than most restaurants. The sides were good. The fire place was really nice since we sat in front of it.

We ordered the giant pretzel as an appetizer,along with potato pancakes.It was nearly an hour before we got the pretzel. The pretzel is delicious, and the beer cheese is full of great flavor.My daughter was served her dinner salad at the same time.It was another 40 minutes before our cod dinners came out,along with the potato pancakes that were supposed to be an appetizer.The cod was luke warm and breading was soggy.The fish itself was flakey and tasty.The fries were undercooked and just warm. Cole slaw was good n creamy.Our waitress was basically non existent through out the dining experience. Awful service and so so food ,except the pretzel. My previous experiences here were good and the only reason I did not rate this place lower.

Went to check out this restaurant because of its German cuisine. Have a plan to bring a good friend here who is from Germany to get authentic German food. Can’t wait to go back again, the food was delicious. Ordered schnitzel, German potato salad, and Spoetzl. The German potato salad wasn’t quite up to par, so they were happy to replace it for me with the red cabbage which was out of this world. The service was extremely friendly and I felt like I was sitting in a friends dining room. They chat it with me throughout the whole time since I was the dining room wall. I will be back very soon.
