Gryffs Pub

Went for a late lunch today, a beautiful crisp Friday afternoon in February, the outdoor seating was pretty awesome with those heaters above comfy outdoor booths, and the food was surprisingly good. We have never stopped here before because of the "bar" look, nothing against bars, just not our usual as my husband and I don't drink. They made excellent burgers that were almost a half pound of beef (7oz patties). My son got their bacon bleu burger with loaded tots, and my husband got a cheeseburger with onion rings, both said everything was fantastic. My grilled chicken cobb was very impressive, I got a shirley temple to drink, and the only reason it got knocked a star was because their blue cheese dressing was really bad. I like a creamy Marie's type and this tasted very much like a Kraft. The service was friendly and perfect as well, and I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a convenient stop in Springfield. I'll be going again (and ordering ranch, lol).

Health food it's not. Nearly everything is fried and bad for you. BUT it's weirdly the best veggie burger I've had in ages, the homemade fry sauce is great, and the cocktail menu is really fun and creative. Wait staff is delightfully friendly and prompt. Good food takes a minute, so I wouldn't suggest going on a half-hour lunch. Excellent pub fare.

Excellent burgers!!!! Wonderful drink selection. I wish the bigger drinks and specialities were on their own menu. Our waitress did not know all the drinks or have any recommendations, but we heard another waitress who did a great job explaining the choices. We had a jumbo blackberry mimosa, pumpkin spice mocha, and peanut butter mocha. Would definitely eat here again! Want to get the Godfather bloody Mary. Some suggestions: bathroom did not have toilet paper and the check books were kinda dirty

This place looks like a has-been Dairy Queen, but they have great outdoor seating with heaters at every table and super nice wait staff. The menu was standard pub food with a few departures. We had the chicken strips with tots. Pretty typical but flavorful. The fried cauliflower was lovely with tasty batter and a perfect texture. The dipping sauces were also a great compliment. We also enjoyed choosing from the selection of hot tried. We weren't disappointed with our Monday night adventure.
