My wife and I were in town for a funeral and were basically wandering around trying to figure out where to eat. We were looking through the window of a pub whose social media made it look dismal, and there was guy standing down the sidewalk a ways outside of another restaurant (Bistro 29) saying “Come on in. We’ll take care of you.”
We did.
And they did!
Bartender was super-personable and made good drinks, but the food was absolutely outstanding. My wife had their salmon offering and I had the blueberry glazed pork chop. Both were incredibly delicious. The pork chop was the best that I’d had in a very very long time. Cooked to perfection! The salmon was flaky and delicious, and their sides were perfect as well.
I know that they’ll be closing soon for remodeling BUT we will be back.

I came here in February visiting & I was really impressed with everything. The food was awesome and our waiter was patient and understanding. A nice place for a date.

All around a fantastic place to eat! We had the crispy brussels sprouts, scallop and mushroom risotto and half shell oysters. All were 10/10!

This restaurant is amazing- dishes are so delicious - they are comparable to what you get in 5star NYC restaurants- we had Kobo Wagyu and Sea Bass, which were superb- also the cocktails are top notch

Food was good, some better than others. Lamb was a bit over cooked with burned edges. Ribye was decent, but I expected more for the price.
Roasted duck breast was great though, as was the pork chop. Lobster mac and cheese was good as well.

Good food. Excellent service. My snow crabs were very good and they give u all the tools you need. Wife said her lamb was excellent

Four of us ate dinner at Bistro 29 on a Friday night. Surprisingly there was no wait. We were served promptly and drink orders taken. Two of us ordered house wine, a red and a white which proved to be good choices. We all ordered a different entree and there were no complaints about the food which was well presented. Service was good throughout and prices are mid range by 2023 standards, about $40 person. Highly recommended.

Best Dinner In Town!! My Husband and I are both culinary trained chefs in the area and this was the best dinner at a restaurant we have had in the whole town! I highly recommend it! Drinks are great, service is wonderful, and the food is phenomenal. #1 restaurant in Murphy!

You guys had me worried but this restaurant does NOT smell bad. In fact, the carpet looks new and all of it newly renovated. Escargot was a non traditional preparation w caramelized something in cast iron. Wife loved it and I enjoyed it but still prefer butter garlic bread. Service is slow but it's obvious that the just made it from scratch to order. All was delicious. Pricey but delivers quality high end food.
