The Dining Room

Nothing to complain about this visit. We went in wondering if it would be the same as Del Rancho. It was close in taste but not quite the same. Some items have been dropped but they have added a few items. Yes, the breading on the chicken and steaks is a little different but we liked it. We look forward to trying some of the new menu items on our next visit.

Pros- had steak sandwich and steak stix. Very good peppery batter. Mashed potatoes were very good too! Cons- a little slow getting our food. Ordered no tomatoes on my sandwich and had to pick them off. Ordered mashed potatoes and got fries but she promptly brought the mashed. Overall, we will definitely be back!!

We very skeptic about eating here after changing from Del Rancho, but so glad I gave it a try. Have gone back 3 times! the steak is so tender you can cut it with a fork and the batter is 100% better. I don't know that I'll ever go back to a Del Rancho again. On top of great food, they have the best ice around and the greatest staff. If you haven't tried it yet, you're crazy!

If I didn't know it used to be a Del Rancho I would say it was a Del Rancho wannabe that didn't quite make it. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak dinner my favorite Del Rancho meal for comparison. It was very sub-standard!!! A hamburger was also ordered, nothing special. Could make it just as good or better at home.The wait staff was friendly and helpful. But we won't be going back and won't be recommending the place to anyone

Not good. House salad lettuce was barely green, look ed d like it was the last on the head of lettuce and drowned in to much Italian dressing. Catfish was overly breaded and slightly overdone . Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. But overall I don't think I will repeat the experience. Better when it was Del Rsncho.sorry 'bout it...not sorry

If you come here looking for the same Del Rancho steak sandwich we all know and love then you will be very disappointed. The Dinning Room tried to copy Del Rancho in many ways, they even boasted saying "the same taste you knew" but this is just a sad knock off. The steak sandwich is much more peppery, the breading is way to crisp and just falls apart if you look at it wrong, and the steak itself is tough and hard to chew. You are paying as much as you would if you went to a sit down restaurant but you are only getting mediocre fast food that even McDonalds would replace.
