Morrison's Cafeteria

The way my husband and I just enjoyed our lunch at the famous Morrison’s Cafeteria is unreal! We used to have one in our hometown years ago but it closed. What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon a Morrison’s while traveling! Everything we ate was outstanding! The staff were friendly and accommodating. Will be back for sure!!

Morrison’s is a great American comfort food spot conveniently located near many shops in the Airport Boulevard area. It is conveniently owned by the same company Piccadilly is owned by and it is simply the Piccadilly but better. If you’ve had Piccadilly, it is a joke compared to Morrison’s. Highly recommended for a nice dinner on a Saturday or just on a weeknight after a long hard day of work.

Our dinner was fantastic! We've never been here before and we weren't sure how the meals worked, the staff was not very helpful but the cashier was great at trying to figure out the best way to charge. The server was very attentive and kept our drinks full. My husband wanted the fish but there was no tartar sauce so he was disappointed but he got the chopped steak instead and he loved it.

I had chicken tender dinner. The tenders were cold. My waitress returned them. She told me they were cooking fresh tenders. My husband finished his meal by the time I received my "fresh tenders". They were reheated, probably in a microwave. They were as cold as the first order. My waitress touched them at my request. She was very apologetic and took them back to the kitchen. The manager came and offered me fresh tenders, or something else. I was ready to go, as my husband had finished eating. The manager apologized and removed my meal from the ticket. They are a little pricey for some of their entrees, but the food is usually good. I don't know what happened on this trip.

My hubby and I eat here a couple times a month. I was very disappointed in our experience tonight. The ladies behind the line were talking to each other and was ignoring the line. One of the older ladies had to ask them to serve us. They were rude to us ( normally they are very nice). I got the Turkey & stuffing, green beans and broccoli with cheese. I didn’t eat it. The green beans were very stringy, broccoli was mush, Turkey was dry( even with the gravy on it). Robbin ( waitress)was great! She offered to bring me something else but I declined. This place used to be a family restaurant but now it’s pitiful.
