We came in for breakfast, very accommodating staff and chef who catered to our ‘fussy’ eaters! Food was nice and hot, would be better if they charged more and had better quality products eg sausages. They have hash browns with the breakfast now instead of sautéed potatoes they used to serve. Overall great value for money

A charming, friendly and reasonably priced first-floor tea room in a bright and airy former ballroom overlooking The Avenue. Look out for the entrance opposite Exmoor Food & Gifts.

I remember the Cafe was called Owls Cafe the Staff were very friendly the previous owner was also friendly I have great memories of the cafe when it was called Owls ad the year it was between 2004 and 2006

Lucky to find this brilliant place...great for lunch but could easily stay all day. Proper cooking, modest prices, friendly informative staff all in a wonderful old listed building with a racy history! Even better it's dog friendly and Gizmo can't wait to return to enjoy more of the same!
