Absolutely fantastic! Huge portions, really crispy chips, all cooked to order. The guy who served me was really conscientious too, made sure everything was how I wanted it

Fantastic chippy, proper old school with crispy light batter and proper light brown crispy fluffy chips, huge portions and friendly efficient service.
My wife and I eat in and had cod and chips, a portion of mushy peas and a bottle of water for £16 😳
The portions of chips were huge
If there had been 4 of us it would still have been too much 😁
Do not be put off by the location, take the time to come inland a bit and sample the best chippy in Minehead, you will not regret it 👍🏻

Really looking forward to sampling the fish and chips. 3x F&C purchased,down to the harbour we go!
Chips lovely, crisp non- greasey. Fish, hmmm....batter thick crisp on outside soggy raw inside,fish grey insipid looking but in fairness tasted ok. Tbh, I'm not sure it was cod, it was thin greyish fish.
I'd eat here again as I'm sure it was an off day, we can all have them, right?

Fantastic fish and chip shop, we are here on a little break away and really fancied a nice fish and chips . We chose Tom's fishbar as it had great reviews, and we were not let down! Hands down the best fish and chips ( we actually had batterd sausages and chips) we have ever had! the chips especially were a lovely texture and taste . Very friendly staff also.😊👍🍴

Best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Every time we go there the service and staff are exceptionally good. Everything is freshly cooked and there is a wide choice on the menu. The food is very competitively priced. What more can you ask for?

Highest google rated fish and chip shop in Minehead at time of writing(18 may 2020). Extremely good fish and chips served by Terry yesterday. Great service and great value too, £13 for 3 fish dinners. Good portion sizes also. My young boys and I enjoyed our dinner on the beach. They ate it all which is rare.
You will be rewarded for your short drive to Tom's Fishbar. Highly recommended to all in the market for great fish and chips.

This restaurant was awesome! The service was super friendly and the food was awesome. I had the battered cod and chips, which was awesome. Someone I was with ordered the nuggets and I tasted one, and I was really impressed. I would definitely recommend stopping by this place if you're in the area and in need of food.

When you fancy fish and chips you want it to taste this good, there was a bit of a wait for the food but it was freshly cooked and a sudden in rush of customers but it was worth the wait, I will go back. The curry sauce comes in three levels, a Chinesesy mild with a peppery spice, medium or burn your butt off hot.

Very friendly staff, lovely variety of freshly cooked to order food.
Highly recommend. The bonus for me was the food trays, much better than the polystyrene and thin cardboard ones used in other food outlets.
