I often have a hard time finding a place to eat in Mesquite NV. As we often try to hit the local places, we found Peggy Sue's to be a great experience. I played it safe and ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger and it was fantastic. The service was quick and friendly. The price is about right for what we ordered (about $10 a person). I really liked the ambiance, picture os "The King", James Dean and Marilyn Monroe give this place a true dinner look that I really enjoyed. I can't speak for their Stake, but I wouldn't go to a Dinner and expect a great steak dinner. Overall a 5 star experience, I will hit this place again when I pass by Mesquite!

Fair to midlin food and decor. Nothing really special about the food or service. They could do so much more to make this place rock! No music and t I explained lone tv was only playing local advertising. The biscuits and gravy was good but not great. Prices and value are okay. More smiles and fun attitudes would help. Everyone looked like they had to help you not that they wanted too.

Ordered steak med well. Received it well done. The cook Richard was complaining as we could hear about another steak. I said don't worry about cooking another. Overall or server was nice and we Received a small discount ...... we Appreciate it but won't be back. Also. My wife asked for done but not too crispy bacon. This is what she got on her BLT...

THIS PLACE WAS A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! My mother, myself and my two little boys traveled from Las Vegas to eat at what we thought was going to be a 'nostalgic experience' but were sadly mistaken! The place had no music, and overall the food was AWFUL! I ordered bacon and had it sent back twice because it returned 'raw'. I don't even think they re-cooked it, I think they just warmed it back up in the microwave! Also, my eggs were runny! When I complained to the waitress, she responded with a bad attitude and asked if I wanted my bacon, 'burnt'? Not sure why the owners aren't capturing or cashing in on what this place 'could be'. Why not have the waitresses 'dress the part' of a 50s diner with poodle skirts? Play 50's music or work on the nostalgic atmosphere? The pictures on the wall weren't enough to sell the idea of what that era once was. We were bummed after driving an hour and leaving hungry. Peggy Sue's 50's Style Diner Owners, please work on your business! It's not at all what it could be!! Also! A gift shop would have been a nice addition as well! Its as if they haven't invested much money to promote this establishment!

♥️ LOVE this 50’s diner soo much!!!♥️ Atmosphere and food are amazing!!! We had the Reuben sandwich and fries - fries were crispy and delicious! The place was packed so we sat at the bar and got in right away. Bartender was an absolute delight and such a sweet friendly and attentive babe! Will definitely intend on stopping by here every time we pass through. 🥂🌺
