Tzango

First time diner here. I had the signature platter, she had Bistec a la Mexacana. Both dishes were of excellent quality. The flavor of both were distinctly different from the normal Tex Mex flavor. The salsa was also distinct as well as excellent. I reccomend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent new taste to Macon.

Ask for the best vegetarian quesadillas in town! Great place to grab some lunch on the go or to sit down. They have delicious vegetarian options like their Fajitas, Enchiladas, and Tacos. Ask about their Horchata, and if you have a pooch, the owners are dog friendly. They might even have a treat for them! The only problem I have ever had is that they are so popular we couldn't get a table! If you get a chance to eat here, definitely do it.

My wife read an article that mentioned Tzango so we decided to go try it out. We got there as soon as they opened and good thing because by the time we left, there was only seating at the bar and one open table. I think it was the owner that served us and she was great. As others came in it seemed like most were regulars and she knew who they were and what they liked. My wife had the tamale plate with black beans and salad, the black beans were so good I asked for a side of them. I ordered the Carnitas, it was cooked perfect. With excellent food, great service and great prices, we will be back. I may have to become a regular.

I would rate this 20 stars if I could. It's not a big joint .. but there will be bigger things with the service and food! The owners are so personable and friendly .. she talked with us like we were old friends and it was my first time there. The food was amazing! And the best prices I've ever seen. You can't beat it. We were in downtown for a concert at Hargray Capitol Theatre (it's like 20 feet away) I, 1000%, recommend stopping in for some excellent Mexican food!!!!!
