More Italian

So we thought we found our spot for Stromboli’s ! First few time ordering was great then started having problems with ordering, the person couldn’t hear, long wait times, they’d hang up on you then not answer. So, long story made short we decided to give up on Stromboli after the last one was mostly dough and barely any toppings (when that was what we loved). My daughter loved the pizza so decided to try that this time. Again, the person claimed they couldn’t hear me when I called in but still could hear enough to try to up sell me and then the up sell turned into $7 more when it started to be $2 more than my original order for wings that we knew we didn’t like the first time we ordered. Anyway, went back to my original order for a med 2 topping pizza for $17 although pricey if it’s good I’m willing to spend the money. Boyfriend goes in to pick it up and the lady again tries to explain the up sell that I had turned down we get home to a digiorno looking pizza that we had to finish heating in the toaster oven. On to the next place, we’ve spent enough there! I don’t know if it’s new management or what but the horrible customer service along with downgraded final product so long to this place.

More Italian bistro is a small little restaurant with the old city charm. the owner, makes every pizza to perfection; unique combinations and all delicious. His staff is warm and friendly and remembers each customer................just like coming home. This is a gem tucked away in a small strip shopping center. Definitely a must try ! You will not be disappointed, I will be back!

Our family had a baptism celebration here last night, the service and food was wonderful! The servers couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. The food was delicious we had a party of 32 and we were very well taken care of, not only would I have a party here again I will Recommend More Italian to all my friends!

Just awful. I wanted to like this place, I work in the plaza,.. Marchellos was amazing, they had fresh homemade sauce and cheese. But this place, the food is generic, it's like another person reviewed, like cafeteria food. The pepperoni isn't even tasty, hormel is better! I've gone back like 5 times, all very bland. The good reviews here, it's like they've never had actual Italian food!! Very blah and not worth the money. If I had to say something good, they are fast. They nickel and dime you for toppings on a pizza slice, I've paid 4 dollars for one slice because of toppings, extra cheese was like 5 small tiny shreds of shredded cheese, not worth it. Whenever I've asked for added toppings, usually any pizza place adds some cheese on top, to cement the other toppings, if anything, but they don't add any, they charge you for a tiny amount of it. And there isn't much on the pre-made slice to begin with. I'm done with this place, Uncle Maddios is across the street, they're actually delicious. I'd rather drive across the street and be inconvenienced, than eat here again.

I love trying when a new restaurant opens, but unfortunately sometimes things don't work out. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very attentive. Unfortunately, the food was actually TERRIBLE. I ordered the sampler meal. Spaghetti/ meatball (singular) / lasagne / ravioli. First, they didn't have ravioli,insert tortellini, ok I can handle that. The lasagne was inedible... obviously frozen, tasted like a store bought frozen dinner. Can you say school cafeteria food. The meatball (singular) was certainly bought from discount membership store, think Sam's or Costco. The sauce obviously poured out from a 96 ounce can and heated up, no flavor no seasoning just terrible. Our waitress was obviously embarrassed and felt bad. I barely ate my food excepting the lone meatball, it was only two bites. I wasn't trying to make a scene, i was very quietly voicing my concerns. When my waitress came back offering me a modest discount, i explained that was fine, but I really wanted to speak to the new owners, who were nowhere to be found. I'm sorry, it was quite honestly one of the worst dinners I have ever had.

If you don't know really good pizza or Italian food, you may like it. But there is nothing Italian about it. Not the owners, not the help and not the food. This is Florida pizza. Period. I'm Italian-American and know. The problem is there is no pride or passion in this restaurant and the owner-mgmt. seem to be absentee like so many places these days. For a restaurant to make it the management has to be passionate and take an interest in running the place day to day, minute by minute to oversee the smallest details. Entrust the place to be run by staff and it will be run into the ground. I would bet they suffer the same fate as Marchello's and for the same reasons.

Pizza is just so so. Many better choices out there. The garlic bread was tasty but mushy. Also I ordered online through Slice, and they got my order wrong (forgot topping) and when I contacted them they were no help at all. Would not recommend using their delivery service by Slice. Might give the pizza another try though.
