Biscuit Stop

Found this awesome biscuit joint while in town for work. Let's talk about the food first...DE-LICIOUS!!!! Biscuits were soft, fresh, flakey, and perfectly cooked. The eggs were not greasy or undercooked. They were also perfect. I had the tenderloin and coworker had had sausage. The biscuits were so good, I ordered another one with butter and jelly....oh my! Wanted to eat 6 more, but my belly told me that was enough. Now the people....the owner/server was wonderful, engaging and charming. We found out she has been in business for almost 36 years, and I know why. Go there and get a great value breakfast. You won't regret it!

We stopped in early Saturday morning on our way through Lagrange to Alexander City AL. We've been driving past this place for years and finally had time to stop. Best described as "like your grandma's house", everyone inside knew each other and was friendly. We ordered the ham and egg and bacon and egg biscuits. The bacon and egg was definitely worth coming back for, great bacon, good biscuit and tasteful egg. Worth checking out if you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, remember it is cash only.
