It is amazing how different people experience things. We drove to Jerome from Mountain Home because we heard the food "was out of this world." (on a Thursday, so it was not packed, but quite a few there.) There definitely was plenty to eat, but to us it was only "OK." The chicken fried steak was a little tough. The baked potato and homemade rolls were very good. The place was NOT clean by any means. The ceiling is falling down even, there were cobwebs in the bathroom. Service was good; we were even offered a complimentary desert of rice pudding. However, we will not be going back.

I have eaten here before and it was good, this time I went and ordered basically the same thing I ordered medium on my eggs yes they came back runny hash browns I wanted well done with grilled onions they came back hardly cooked at all so I had to send the waitress back with my food to cook the hash browns they left my plate under a heat lamp the egg still didn't cook the hash brown still weren't well done then they brought me my English muffin it was cold the butter wasn't even melted so I had to send it back I hardly ate any of it the waitress gave me 15% off my entire ticket I probably didn't eat 15% anyhow all in all it was a horrible experience when you pay for food you would really like it cooked to your specifications. So that is why I gave them only two stars so when you go in you take your chance it might be good and it might not be.😔

Went to pick my daughter up lunch and decided on an order of mushrooms. The mushrooms were $5.95 and I was only given 6 mushrooms. I sent them back after seeing what I was paying for. The owner Lynn came out and said with an attitude "just to let you know those were fresh dipped". I was appalled and said "those are almost a dollar a piece" she shook her head yes and tyrned her back on me. Her soda is $1.99 for to go cup which is the size of a small soda at Mc Donalds. I am still appalled. This is a small diner not an extravagant restaurant. I will stick to Choats. They have way better food and service. Not to mention when I saw this lady I remembered her from Choats. She was a cook there and I had placed an order over the phone. I went in to pick it up and she was there in the waitress pick up window picking something around her nose area and went right back to cooking without washing her hands. I will NEVER return to this place. She can keep her food and her extremely high prices
