The Foundry

The foundry is always great, the food is good and the staff is excellent. This is the goto restaurant when at Jay Peak. The atmosphere is good and the staff is great. The specialty pizzas are excellent and they have a good gluten free pizza with the option of vegan cheese. They are sensitive to food allergies and sensitivities. You can make reservations online! I recommend booking your table in advance if you can. However, they do walk-in if you don't book ahead. Overall a great dining experience the food is fresh and we'll prepared. Thay also have a good bar staff and have the usual offering of beer, wine, and and mixed drinks! The menu does change so it pays to look online. Make reservations or drop in it's well worth the experience.

The sesame Thai tofu bowl was SO good and filling. I've also tried the pizza with dairy free cheese in the past and it's absolutely delicious. Thank you for having vegetarian options! Unfortunately, though, they don't take reservations for parties under eight, and my family went at 7pm on a Saturday night and waited an hour and a half for a table of six. We then waited almost half an hour for someone to come greet us at our table. The hostess and waiter both said they were very short staffed. I'd highly recommend visiting outside of the dinner rush hours, especially if you have a large party, because our experience was a bit tinged by waiting two hours to eat dinner.

If you're looking for the most enjoyable and best tasting meal around Jay, you must come to The Foundry. The food here is exquisite, and the restaurant is very well run with a clean and well laid out atmosphere. I highly recommend the more finer dining food options on the menu even though the flatbreads, burgers, and appetizers are also very good. Breakfast is also a great option with the Eggs Benedict, and french toast entrees being spectacular choices. I started coming here since 2020 and has always given me an amazing meal. A must try!

We had Christmas eve dinner at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating and were able to find us a table with a last minute call for a reservation. All the food we tried was well made, delicious with a beautiful presentation. Portions were generous and we had yummy leftovers for next day as well. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and we'll return.
