Great first experience from the moment my husband and I stepped in the door, greeted by friendly waiters. I got the Port of Spain’s Curry chicken, collard greens, Mac n cheese and fried okra. My husband got the Kingston Combination Plate (curry chicken, jerk chicken and 3 oxtail’s) food was hot and good! I definitely would recommend everyone to check this place out because we will definitely be back.

MY MOTHER SAID SHE DID NOT LIKE THE FOOD HERE Now, I know why . . . . When you are Hungry the smell of food should have a person salivating. THURSDAY 09/16/2021 OMG!!!! The tilapia and collards both had such an awful smell. I could NOT eat the fish nor the greens. The tilapia didn’t smell fresh. I actually smelt the odor of the fish inside the restaurant at the counter when I went inside to pick up my order. I took my to-go order back to my car , pulled out of the parking space and pulled over again before getting on Highway 31 to look in the to go plate. I am at fault for convincing myself the fish looked good while the food smelt bad. Hungry and I was ready to eat. That was a mistake. Once I made it back home, the smell of the greens were so bad I could not convince myself to take a taste. $32 wasted. I will not ever patronize this restaurant again. This situation make it difficult to support Black Owned and Operated Restaurants and Businesses. This was just awful food I received today. My recommendation to the restaurant owners is to not serve food especially fish and greens that are not fresh and prepared immediately. Fish should never set out at room temperature and be prepared hours later. And, I have no idea what type of water or broth the restaurant is using to cook the collard greens; however and whatever it is, the restaurant need to rethink the recipe. #Nasty #Smelly #ThumbsDown

Dine in is NOT available!! We missed that point on google maps but decided to order anyway since we drove 25 minutes for it and we’re SO GLAD we did! The food was delicious!! The oxtails, tender and divine. Perfect portion sizes. I was able to make two meals out of it between the oxtails and two sides it came with. We’ll definitely be back!

On Monday March 14th, I put in a order online . The order was Pork Chop Baby Gravy with Mac& cheese with greens as veggies . I requested for center cuts smothered in gravy and pick up time for 7pm. I got there at 7pm and had too wait. Jake was not crowded at all. I got my food and the gravy was on the side. One Pork Chop was fresh and the other piece was tasting like seafood. The entire order was nasty. I threw out 21.00 and change. I been ordering this meal and never had this problem. I want be eating there anymore

Ordered online at 3:30, was told it would be done at 4:08. Got there at 4:15 and was told they were out of one of the black eyes peas I ordered. I told them it was fine to replace with sweet potatoes. 30 minutes passed and my order still was not finished. I went to the counter to see what was the hold up and was told “they ain’t got it ready yet”. I canceled my order. So rude & unprofessional. I wanted to support but their customer service was slim to non existent.
