Five Guys

great burger! BUT the place is never clean. One table had milkshake spilled on top of the table an no one cleaned it up. The employees just stood around. The floor was messy. The seats had crumbs and sticky stuff on them. I almost lost my appetite. We had to ask for a container to put our ketchup in and the employee gave us one container out of 3 people for our fries. The large ketchup containers that hold the ketchup, one was completely empty and I wasn't sure we would get any out of the other container. My husband was and is always very polite and the employee was rude. Its a real shame because I enjoy the cheeseburgers but I won't be going back unless something happens for the better.

This Hoover location have a team full of very incompetent employees. This is the second time I’ve went to Five Guys and received a burger with no toppings. The manager was able to correct the issue with no problem the first visit. This second time I spent $18 for a burger and buns. I ordered the little bacon cheese burger with all toppings. I received only a burger and bread. The manager had the nerve to tell me that because I placed my order over the phone and did not include what toppings I wanted, is the reason I received no toppings. However, the receipt printed said BACON clear as day. There wasn’t even any bacon on my burger. I requested a refund. The manager said I would get, and I didn’t. Five Guys food isn’t bad, it’s them employees. And that location is the worst. I’ll go to McDonald’s before spending my money there again.

It was a rough night for 5 Guys. We didn't have to wait to place our order, and our food was served hot and fresh. The fries were a little overcooked (darker brown) than I remember them being in the past. We did wait over 40 minutes for our food. There were no straws at the drink station. They had all hands on deck, but they could've used another employee or two. The employees were very friendly. However, it was hard spending over $30 for two of us to eat when those things all add up.

This use to be my weekly five guys go too. Unfortunately the management has changed. The managers are unprofessional which shows up among others employees. I’ve had a manager recently throw a receipt at me because, I requested condiments on the side. He snarled at me and belittled through the entire transaction and complained I was making him do more work than usual. Before the management change my order was never a problem. Among the lack of customer service this location is dirty and lacks a professional decorum.

Burgers are great but I secretly come here for the peanuts. Dry roasted peanuts in the shell are the best around. Their burgers and fries are not bad either😜. I struggle with the cost of $16 for a burger, fry, and a drink that’s is why I dinged them a point. This location is excellent. Generally busy but not overly crowded plus the little wait gives you time to enjoy the peanuts.

My first visit after COVID and I got struck by sticker shock. Cheese sandwich, little fries, regular fountain drink plus tax and tip (what is the tip for?) $17.70! I believe that is too expensive for a fast-food, no-meat option. Yep, 3 stars from a vegetarian. Fries are good and you don't get an evil eye when you order a veggie or cheese sandwich. The toppings, including fresh jalapenos (!!) are of good quality and the sandwich with everything but meat is satisfying and very messy. I could have given 4 stars but I always feel a little greasy when I am eating here. No, no, everything is very clean but somehow the food feels fatty. Start making some garden patties, offer smaller portions of fries for reduced prices, include a salad into your menu :-)
