came at 6 without a reservation but they seated us as long as we could finish by 6:45 took quite a bit to get someone’s attention to order and the food took ages. definitely make a reservation if you’re keen to come and prepare to wait for your food. cocktails were nice and decently priced during happy hour. chicken is amazing. got 2 10 oz servings bone-in, salt & pepper + gravy and hot + garlic ranch. both were tender & juicy, superb.

Really cool venue in midtown offering boneless chicken and drinks. The toilets…wow! My cocktail was fabulous, and the menu layout is great. My chicken was dry and unlike all the boneless chicken I’ve had before. The sauce helped a lot. The corn side was tasty and juicy. Service wasn’t awesome but it did feel as though the team was understaffed for an unexpected busy lunchtime shift…

Top 3 must eat spots in Hobart. What a shame that we only found out about third on our last day of the trip. I’d give this spot 6 out of 5 if I could. The absolute best fried chicken I have ever had in any restaurant ever and that slaw. The cocktails were spot on and the their smokey take on the classic pina colada was amazing. Over the top theatrics (which I absolutely loved) and such a balance of flavour wow. Kudos to the guys behind the bar. What a spot.

If I could six star this place, I would. Succulent, juicy chicken perfectly coated with a thin, gold and crispy armour of batter made for one perfect bite after another (the "Almost Whole Bird" option is pictured here). We couldn't get enough of it and ordered extra Spicy boneless chicken breast bites with Rum BBQ sauce - an absolute banger of a choice , with the spicy coating and tangy-sweet bbq making for a sweet little dance of flavour. The sides were also spectacular - nicely grilled, buttered corn kernels plus crispy-out and tender in sweet potato fries to round out our fowl-mouthed dinner. Would definitely recommend a try (and many more)!
