Very tasty pies. They have a reasonable selection of other bakery food too.
The bakery is a small shed next to their house. The location is very scenic and a relaxing place to eat.
Like one of the other reviews said, the customer service isn't world class. Not compared to some of the other food spots we visited around Hobart. They'd get 5 stars if that had been on point. Maybe hiring someone to serve might be good for business.
Overall though, excellent food and worth a visit if you're nearby.

However, they don't have any indoor seating and are more aimed at baking and selling then customer serving.

We just moved to the area and thought we'd head over to see what all the fuss was about.... Wasn't dissapointed. Awesome food! I meant to take a photo of the custard pie but I ate it too quickly. Vanilla slice is 10/10. Keep up the great work, we'll be back!

This place is what Australia is all about, people doing what they love and can be experienced in the taste. No fancy corporate bulldung, just fair dinkum know how.

Love this place! They use real butter in their pastry. Their pies are great and I’m very fond of their huge array of sweet treats! A bit of a step back in time. Also very happy to feel relaxed and free from onerous rules in their presence.

The biggest and best Custard tarts I've tasted yet, plenty of Custard and base has excellent texture and thickness is just right
Pies, Sausage Rolls and Pasties are Top notch as well
