Chili's

I've eaten here several time and this is a very busy place. Today we ate at the bar, which was nice. We had a shared starter, a bowl of chili and soup. The chili was very flavorsome. The food and drinks were great, the staff were attentive and very polite. Despite being understaffed, we didn't have to wait to be seated.

This Review is a Negative 3. The restaurant of Chili's here said they can't help any customers for more than 30 minutes because the kitchen is backed up. There's 8 cars in the lot. Maybe at most 9 customers. The host said a review is fine with him. Here's pictures to back up what I'm saying. I planned on Spending near $200.00 with other people in my party. Chili's get your act together !

Ordered the cajun chicken pasta this weekend. When you think of cajun or creole food you expect a certain level of spice, but my recent order although creamy and flavorful had very little, if any spice. 5 mos. ago: I had not visited Chili's in over a year, so I decided to order the triple dipper w/wings, the southwest egg rolls and the big mouth bites. To add, I recently ordered the Old Timer and mango-habenero wings. There was good char and smokey flavor from the grill on the beefy burger, but the fries were already cold and starting to harden by the time I got home. The wings had great flavor and there was a good balance between the heat and sweet, but they could have been much crispier. My FAVs and Must try: Old Timer (good, classic chzburger), Just Bacon Burger (beefy, bacony goodness) Mango-habenero Wings (ask for crispy), Southwestern Eggrolls, Chix and Stk fajitas, Sante Fe Chix Salad, Blackberry Ice Tea (so refreshing with a burst of fruitiness)

Came in for dinner around 5:15pm on a Saturday. There was no one else waiting but it was a 5 min wait for 4 after doing the join ahead list- not bad at all just odd. Restaurant was at about 20% capacity. Our server was amazing! Food was great, hot and fast. This review is for the hostess. We sat near the front door and saw her tell two different parties of 3 people it was going to be a log enough to wait for them to literally turn around and walk out the door. The two tables behind us were open and freshly cleaned. We saw her make multiple other parties wait for no apparent reason. If this was her business and revenue mattered on how she treated customers I think it would be very different. Many lost customers when there was plenty of room and service available. Hoping management can see this and address.

Ordered off lunch menu and had two for one margaritas. Hands down top ten in margaritas! They were great. Food was great as well as the service. Even while they were short about 7 servers. The entire dining room was closed due to lack of staff. What is up with this?? Do people just not want to work??
