Here is an honest review of my experience at State & Main this evening. Started by waiting at the door for about 5 minutes while multiple servers raced by us in panic which looked like a less than half full restaurant. We were sat and eventually greeted. We waited 40 minutes for a spinach dip that had cold pita bread.The wings came shortly after. These cold, tree bark, beef jerky wings absolutely sucked. I didn’t even feel comfortable paying for something I wouldn’t feed a dog. Server was nice but who cares when the food comes literally 40 minutes after ordering and cold. I would understand if the restaurant was full but it was not. I work in the industry and to have multiple servers walk by without greeting us or letting us know someone would be with us shortly was the first red flag.I drove 20 minutes because of these “good” reviews. Save your time and money. I promise you, you could get better wings from 7/11.

First time here and probably the last. Food was not that great tasting, poor value and temperature of food not hot. Spinach dip was not appetizing as it was like a green purée. Fish tacos only came with 2 small tacos and were bland. I substituted daily vegetables instead of fries and was charged extra. The asparagus was room temperature. The other meals at the table just lacked any sort of value for price charged. To top it off my drink sat empty most of the meal and was never offered a refill. The only reason this didn’t get a one star review is that the establishment is pretty nice. The food was a failure unfortunately.

First time at this restaurant Saturday November 13, 2021. Large group of us and service was good. Seven dollars for a mixed drink for a vodka cranberry. Not many options on the menu that I personally liked and a bit pricey. I tried the truffle shrimp rigatoni and it was good but I would have preferred there be more sauce as some of the noodles were dry. My husband enjoyed his steak meal.

ABSOLUTELY incredible service today. There was simply nothing like it. Jennifer was very approachable, friendly and amazingly accommodating. She's was the epitome of customer service. She gave our party the appropriate space to converse and not be bombarded; she checked to make sure our glasses were replenished and she even took time out to help us take some photos to commemorate our friend's birthday. The food came out quick and hot. Each course was paced out just right. Everyone from when we were greeted at the front to the very end of our time at the restaurant were genuinely polite and friendly. Thank you for a very very great experience. We will be planning more visits in the near future for sure. When you pay to go out service makes a world of difference. My friend tried a recommended drink but it wasn't to her liking. Jennifer immediately returned with a different choice to sample before offering a full glass of the new beverage. It's very rare to see a restaurant care that you enjoy your choice in beverage and not penalise you for the one you sampled. A very noble act that goes a long way. I highly recommend the calamari. I was hesitant on trying their fries because they're not fresh cut but the dill dip makes them very delicious. My only other recommendation is that if you get the chicken club sandwich (which I thought was going to come on sandwich bread in a couple layers & not a bun), I'd ask for the bun to be toasted. I just found my sandwich to be soggy & difficult to enjoy. I did ask to take my sandwich home. I most likely will just transfer the insides of my sandwich onto a different bun for lunch tomorrow.

Our first time here and definitely not our last. Service was impeccable. The spicy tuna tartar with crispy rice was absolutely amazing and the flavours are ones I never experienced before in a tartar. There was more on the plate, I took the photo after we both had 2 each lol. The Rigatoni with shrimp, crispy prosciutto, peas and a creamy garlic black truffle sauce left me speechless. A definate must try for anyone who has never been here. A new repeat customer.

Made another stop in for some soup dumplings and some caesars and left with a smile. Customer service is everything and they've got a stellar team! Thank you for a good afternoon! Came in because I was craving calamari server was honest and said at times the cook on them can be inconsistent and they were in fact chewy; server was great comped the order and replaced with these Thai dumplings that were so good! My buddy enjoyed the wings said they hit the spot! Had I not been tight for time we would have stayed longer and eaten more - cheers to the next trip!

Yes!! Really enjoyed this restaurant. Great service from the moment we walked in, I believe Kayla was our server. We went after 9pm to try the happy hour. I had the blossom gin and tonic which was amazingly good! We also had truffle parm crisps, fish tacos, pretzel bites, spinach and artichoke dip and also the calamari. EVERYTHING was amazing!! It was all hot, fresh ,smelled great, quality food. 👌. I DO RECOMMEND! My fav was the drink and calamari. This was my second time at this restaurant and the drinks are just incredible!! Great Job State & Main!!!
