I went for the regular oil change to Fort Mill Ford on 03/04, and after some time I started smelling something, and when I opened the hood I discovered that the dip stick has not been secured after the oil change and oil was all over the hood. When I returned to the service I asked to check the oil level and clean up under the hood, I was in rush and didn't check they work right the way, but when I checked later that day I was unpleasantly surprised that the engine was not completely cleaned and there is still oil marks, especially next to the star plugs, and it concerns me and I don't know why nobody raised concern regarding that on the service. My car has 22 thousand miles and I'm really concerned about the impact of their mistake on the engine, but I feel like nobody cares about it. It's the first time in my life that I'm that disappointed of the Ford service. Update: They called and invited for the engine detailing (with no charge). This time they cleaned well.

Fort Mill Ford has a very friendly and professional staff. They will go out of their way to accommodate you and are always polite. When I bought my car from them I could tell the difference from other dealerships I had visited. I did not feel like they were pressuring me to buy anything, and I appreciate their sales staff. The service department is also outstanding and helpful. We traded in our Ford Fusion hybrid for a Ford Escape titanium. The Fusion was a great car but now that we have retired, we don’t need to commute and we are ready for a different vehicle. We absolutely love the new Escape. It is a very comfortable car and great for road trips.

Several years ago they sold me a van. Was "factory certified" AND "clean car fax" Turns out the van had been wrecked, repaired and the damage, which on a slightly closer inspection was obvious. Problem was discovered within 24 hours of taking possession. Went back to return it and found they had already shipped off my trade. They offered me a different van, but was going to take a week to get it AND it was a couple thousand dollars more with more miles. I of course said that was unacceptable. Manger said he didn't know what I was worried about, as I was going to drive it til it died anyway. So they offered me an extended warranty and a service package, and $2000 off to shut me up. I needed the van and took the offer. Problem was I have been stuck with their service department ever since. It is hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Never ready, entire days to change the oil, excuses and attitude. This is the last time I will ever bring a vehicle for service here. Was scheduled for the appointment 3 weeks in advance. Dropped it off 2 days early - 5 days later nothing was done. Nothing. I wouldn't buy a hub cap from these clowns. Buyer beware. Liars, thieves and gross incompetence here!!

I have had good experiences with service at Fort Mill Ford in the past. However, this time I had an advisor that knew shockingly little about trucks. Issue 1: I dropped my truck off for my 8:30 appointment. I called twice throughout the day for an update and did not receive a call back until 4:45 that night. My advisor informed me that the technician now has my truck in the bay. Not only did they have it all day and not work on it, I did not receive communication throughout the day. Issue 2: I received a call the next day that the vibration I was concerned about was not related to a recall item I also took the truck in for. The advisor did not know what the issue was and held me on the phone until the technician told her. She informed me that my drilled and slotted rotors would make noise. I reminded her that the issue was occurring when I was rolling and not applying brake pressure. We hung up and she later called me back to tell me my tires were cupped. I asked what that meant, she didn't know and we hung up again. I looked while off the phone and figured out it was uneven wear. She called me back and reported it was uneven wear and that I should rotate my tires. I rotate on a regular basis so I didn't think that was the cause. I mentioned I had seen something about ball joints causing that. She said they could do additional diagnostics but it would be $130. At that point I had zero confidence in who I was working with and opted to not go further. I will likely take my truck to Shell service station on Tom Hall. All of my experiences with them have been good. They are knowledgeable and honest.

As a returning customer I can say I’m well pleased with this dealership. The folks take the time to speak with and the management staff individually spoke to me and my wife. We absolutely love our new car. My wife made her fist big girl purchase. A big shout out to Adrian. He was awesome…. answering questions, making us feel like valued customers, he went out of his way to make sure we was comfortable with this purchase. He even talked the whole process through for us. I live like 3 minutes from another ford dealership but I chose Fort Mill Ford. So that says something. I definitely recommend them.

I had the best experience buying my car today at Fort Mill Ford with Sammy! He helped me finance through my bank and was very knowledgeable about the process. He also helped with my trade in. The whole process was very quick and easy. I liked how he genuinely wasn’t trying to upsell me on anything. He just wanted to see me happy in the car I wanted! I couldn’t have asked for a better to place to buy my car from! Sammy and the whole staff were amazing!

The car was clean I'll give them that. They had 1 rep named Bob sal that was nice. But several others did not seem very helpful or willing to work with the customer. Overall the process and service was eh. 1 of the sales reps never got back to me. I was surprised that it seemed that no one was wanting to work with you on price at all not even over 1 dollar. They all seemed to have a take it or leave it viewpoint. They say that they are a no haggle dealership, that they give the best price from the start but If your a no haggle dealership and the price is the price then you would have no need for any sales reps. I upped my offer to them 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and they never came down 1 cent. In the end I purposely proposed an offer that was literally only 112$ difference just to see if they were willing to lose a $26000 sale over $112. They sure were. Times sure have changed.

I made an appointment the night before and then I took my car in the next day because the driver door would not open from the outside. I was told it would take about 1.5 hours. I asked if they could check how much life was left on the brakes while they had it. I was told yes, they would be able to tell if there was less than 2mm left on the pads. I said great, I’ll come back this afternoon to pick it up. About 6 hours later I called to let Ford know I was ready to pickup my car. I was told they had not even looked at it yet. About 4 hours later I got a text asking if they could keep the car overnight, at that point I had little choice. The next day I received a call with a quote for the door and that they would have to order the parts. I agreed to the charges and asked how about the brakes? The agent said there were no notes from the technician so she would have to check. I was put on hold. She came back and said the technician said they looked fine. So I asked how many mm were left on the brakes. She had to put me on hold again to ask the technician. She came back and said the only way to tell that was a full brake inspection that had a significant charge with it. So I was told it would it take 1.5 hours, it took 2 days. I was told they could tell me how much life was left on the brakes, when I asked for the details on that I was told oh we have to charge you to tell that. Lied to twice. I will have the door fixed because I do not want to wait another full day at another Service center but this will be my last time going to Fort Mill Ford
