Los Laureles

The chips were good. The salsa was originally too bland. We asked if they had hotter salsa, and it was definitely hot - too hot! Great entrees! I had the chimichanga, and my husband had the California burrito. Guacamole could have been fresher, but everything else was great. I wasn't impressed with my margarita as it seemed too watered down and not strong enough on the tequila. Also, be prepared to tell the waitress your tip instead of writing it down, kind of an awkward exchange.

The building itself is rundown. The chips were cold, dark colored, indicating the oil is several days too old. The cheese was runny, I assume they diluted it with water. The food came out way too quickly, wasn’t very hot. I am genuinely concerned about the freshness of the food they serve. They had kids running around the restaurant.. and the waitress was eating food behind the counter. Not a great experience, I would absolutely not recommend.

I order a carryout, my seafood enchiladas had 1 shrimp in each enchilada and it was cold in fact everything I ordered was cold except the sour cream that was melted on top of a cold slice of tomato, the service was worse than the cold food. I get there to pick it up and it's already paid for and the food is ready to go in the bag but she tells me to wait a minute and takes a carryout order from the guy that came in after me and than seats another person after that and gets him chips salsa and a drink while I'm still waiting for my food that's sitting on the counter finally I get my order and have to come back in for the salsa they didn't put in the bag, she sees me and keeps making drinks for another carry-out and ignoring me until 5 minutes go by and I have to walk over to her and ask for the salsa and she still keeps working on the other carryout . She gives mey salsa and the person who shows up after me is walking out with his order that was placed 35 minutes after mine. The prices have gone up for horrible service and cold food with skimpy portions , I can't wait to eat here again.
