I can't wait for the next time I get to eat at Johnson's Cafe! Beings I'm a vegetarian, this is the best place, in my opinion, to go in a 100 mi radius. Their veggies are so fresh and cooked so well! And for you carnivores, my parents just rave over their meat, chicken and fish options! They usually have a dessert, talk about some awesome, homemade recipes!! Yummy stuff all the way around! 😋😋😋

The steam table menu has limited choices but everything is very good. You can also get a burger, sandwich, or chef salad a la cart. We stopped while driving through town because of the positive reviews and we are not disappointed.

I am new to the area and have been eating here 2 to 3 times a week. Everything has had that good home cooked taste to it. I order of the line all the time as they change up that menu weekly and they offer 3 entrees and many sides. The dessert has been great, when they have, all the time. The staff is down home friendly and the people that frequent the place have all been great. If you're just passing through and need a bite to eat you can't go wrong.

We stopped in because of their reviews and were pleasantly surprised. We were on our "evacuation tour" 🙄 running from Hurricane Delta (this time). My husband got the "steam trays" meal and he loved it. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot. I got the grilled chicken salad and it was yummy, too. They were very friendly 💗.

First time stopping at this place. They offer a steam table during lunch with two to three entrees with various options for sides. I got the chicken fried pork loin with a bit of gravy on top. This was the best fry batter I’ve had in a while and is super crisp. Perfect.
Edit: I came back for lunch the next day and they had a dessert out with the steam table. Fantastic peach cobbler.
